Dear Visitors,

Ocracoke Island Realty welcomes you and your family to the Outer Banks of North Carolina and particularly to the island of Ocracoke. In 2007, we were recognized as the #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach and we are happy to share our natural beauty with you. Our office is conveniently located on Highway 12, Irvin Garrish Highway, just 5 doors down from Howard's Pub.

We have properties to suit every need from waterfront condos or cozy one bedroom bungalows to four and five bedroom cottages for family gatherings. Ocracoke, accessible only by ferry, plane or private boat is unique in its size and unspoiled natural beauty. We have thirteen miles of pristine beaches without a single house, hotel or restaurant. Shops and restaurants are located around Silver Lake Harbor and throughout the Village. Our proximity to the Gulf Stream makes for exceptional fishing and pleasant water temperatures for swimming, kayaking and surfing. Ocracoke offers a colorful history to explore. The slow pace and southern hospitality round out a perfect island vacation ideal for quality family time.

Thank you for your support in the Ocracoke community in recent years. With your help, together we raised over $4,875 for the Ocracoke Child Care, Ocracoke Volunteer Fire Department and the Ocracoke Youth Center through our Company matching donation program. Please consider your opportunity to donate to the community organizations in the years to come.

Due to our remote location, our guests need to be aware of Ocracoke's challenges. Being on the edge of the ocean means that you may be the first to lose power, water or to evacuate. Repair services can take longer than on the mainland as well. We'll do our best to help, but there are situations that are beyond our control.

Please minimize the number of vehicles you bring to the island. We have limited parking at most properties. Our village atmosphere offers pleasant walking and biking opportunities. Ocracoke is a small island, so please be considerate of your neighbors, both other visitors and the residents. Please respect the occupancy restrictions stated in our brochure and respect the island homes as you would your own.
