Tentative Reservations for Next Year

Current year guests of Ocracoke Island Realty are given the first opportunity to "reserve" the same house for the same week(s) the following year. Simply fill out the Vacation Club form that you will find in your check in packet and turn it in before you check out. There is a $25 non refundable fee due within 10 days of making the reservation. This fee can be paid by cash, personal check or money order. Please note that this fee is not credited toward your next year’s reservation.

If you are interested in a different home or different week next year or if you have not stayed with us this year you may still make a tentative reservation. If this year’s guest does not exercise their option to "pre-reserve" the same house/same week(s) for the following year, the week(s) is then open for rent the Tuesday following the 2008 departure date and reservations will be taken on a first come basis. These weeks open up for viewing online on Tuesdays and you may also call our office to speak with a Vacation Specialist and to make your tentative reservation. Please submit your payment to:

These Tentative Reservations are contingent upon the following:

• The home must be in our rental program next year
• The owner must make the weeks available
• We cannot guarantee a rate as owners have not have set rates for next year
• Property descriptions may vary from year to year
• If we do not receive your tentative reservation fee within 10 days, your tentative reservation will automatically be cancelled

We will do our best to provide the accommodations you have requested. Confirmations, including the new rates & reserved week(s) will be mailed to you after the first of the year. If the week is not available for any reason we will let you know as soon as possible and help you find another home or choose a different week. The required deposit, after receiving your lease agreement, must be made within 10 days of receipt of the lease. If your plans have changed and you will not be renting the home you have tentatively reserved please call or email us as soon as you know this so we can open up the week for another guest.

If there has been any significant change to the property description, amenities, etc. we will notify you when the lease agreement is mailed.
