The shared swimming pool (14' x 28', available April 14 - October 13 only) creates a haven for rejuvenation and tranquility. Intimate and inviting. The Cabana's pool is private and only available for use by the four cabanas and the maximum eight guests of the Ocracoke Cabanas.

One bedroom w/Queen. 1 bath w/whirlpool tub.

Amenities include a heat generating electric fireplace (off season only), cathedral wood ceiling, AC/heat, satellite TV with VCR and DVD, wireless internet access, CD player, microwave, dishwasher, phone and clock radio.

The exterior offers 2 shared park style charcoal grills, shared hot/cold outside shower, shared washer/dryer and iron and ironing board and furnished deck and enclosed yard.

Linens provided. Dog Friendly. Maximum 1 Dog Allowed - no pet fee. NON-SMOKING. MAXIMUM 2 PEOPLE, INCLUDING CHILDREN. STRICTLY ENFORCED.

We love this place; it is very nice and clean. My son and I had a great time and we had two other friends that stayed in another unit. We had a wonderful time down at the beach and shopping was endless. Great places to eat! We love everything about this place. We had a friend that passed and we miss him very much, he loved it here. We love your place and wish we could buy it! But we will only be coming back! The modern building, the sound insulation and the fact that you only allow 8 people in the complex at a time is wonderful. Our only wish like many others is that something could be worked out to keep the points open at least partially. They are such a special place. We compromised by going to Portsmouth one day. Beautiful, necessary week of slowing down, R&R, bird and boat watching, beach-going, sea-shelling, sunning, swimming and eating lots of seafood. This truly is a perfect spot for a couples getaway. We love the pool, the privacy and the outdoor shower reminds me of childhood summers on Long Beach Island, NJ. We hope to be back. -- Ben & Mary Furey

It took us a couple of days to unwind and now that we are relaxed and enjoying this quiet, peaceful place it is time to go. We really enjoyed our stay. We visited the Coffee Co. shop on the corner about everyday for lunch. The Back Porch is a good place to eat and you can walk to it. The property was just beautiful. It was peaceful and very relaxing and we so enjoyed the pool which we used every day! We have been coming to Ocracoke Island for 24 years and always stayed in a motel; this is the first time we have ever stayed in a vacation rental. We really love the Cabanas and would like to stay there every time we come to Ocracoke. It is was bright, clean, well appointed and very, very comfortable. It felt like home! Another wonderful stay on Ocracoke and at the Cabanas! The weather was so nice, perfect for bike riding or walking the village day or night. The black kitty was indeed a treat; we've named him Q-tip because of his white tipped tail. We saw him last year and were glad he was still around. This island holds a special place in our hearts and minds. As soon as we board the Cedar Island ferry, we can hardly wait to get here. It's so hard to leave but we will be back. Our first time to Ocracoke Island and will not be our last! Cabana I is lovely-just perfect for a honeymoon. This island is just the right place for R&R-our cell phones do not work here-yes! The restaurants have been wonderful, the beach has been great, some rain but nothing to spoil our fun. Can't wait to come back! -- Beverly & Dave Foley
