Quiet, private location on Ocracoke Island, just 50 yards from canal leading to the sound. Perfect place to launch your kayak or canoe.
2 Bedrooms 1 w/Queen, 1 w/Queen and a set of bunks. One full bath and one half bath.
Amenities include central AC/H, ceiling fans, phone, free domestic long distance service, wireless internet service, * high efficiency washer (requires specific detergent) and dryer, microwave, dishwasher, 4 slice toaster, waffle maker/grill, juice maker, cable TV with VCR/DVD, stereo/CD/cassette and cable hookup in each bedroom (HOOKUP ONLY--NO TV). Extensive, eclectic collection of books, iron/ironing board, card table, board games/puzzles and toys/games. High Chair.

Exterior offers screened porch, outdoor H/C shower with unique shower head and ground level screened room under the house, park style charcoal grill. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 6 people, including children. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Partial stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed (with the exception of Peak Season) and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. You may either call the office at 877-646-2822 to book your partial week stay or you may book online under the nightly tab on this property page.
* Washer requires low suds High Efficiency "HE" Detergent. HE detergent for the washer is provided. Additional HE detergent is available at the nearby Ocracoke Variety Store.

Loved this house. Over the past 35 years I've stayed in well over a dozen houses on the island. Yours has the best equipped kitchen of all of them. Bravo! If I had the option of living here full time, it would be in this house. Can you tell I liked it? My sister and brother-in-law joined me the first week. They loved the house. My son came over for four days the next week. The last week I had the house to myself. I fished all but two days, surfed and practiced my photography. I had good luck at all of them.

The first thing we noticed was the privacy, second was the books! How generous. Adults and kids have enjoyed the books and games along with all the other good things about Ocracoke. We're now at the end of our stay - a sad moment. The 3 generations of our family have enjoyed your comfortable and well equipped home very much. Highlights include the outdoor shower, the screened porches and the privacy. We also enjoyed the access to the sound by the nearby canal. Rented a kayak and paddled around. Thanks so much for a wonderful week! Peaceful. Thanks for the games and books. The wonderful kids' books from two or three generations ago.
