Description"Contentment". The name says it all! This Ocracoke vacation home is located in the quiet Jackson Dunes neighborhood on beautiful Ocracoke Island. Relax in the Adirondack chairs, read a book on the screened porch, dine outdoors or lounge on the upper deck. With two separate living areas, there is plenty of room to spread out and relax! Both living areas include large screen TV's, one with a 55" Theatre Style TV and the other with a 46" TV. Enjoy the lovely sound, marsh, and even distant ocean views from the top floor cupola or one of the two furnished decks! Not a house between you and open expanse of the marsh.
4 bedrooms, (2) w/King, (1) w/Queen, (1) w/Bunk Bed and 1 Twin. 2 baths one with a shower only, and one with shower and claw foot tub!
Additional amenities include, central AC/heat, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, blender, wet bar, mini refrigerator, 5 cable TVs with HBO, Cinemax and Showtime, 2 VCR's, 2 DVD's, 3 iPod docks, stereo/CD, phone, answering machine and wireless internet access, clock radios, iron and ironing board and board games/puzzles.
The exterior offers an outside hot/cold shower, large screened porch, decks, picnic table, deck swing, fish cleaning bench, park style charcoal grill and covered parking. No Linens. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 8 people, including children. Limit of 4 vehicles.

We enjoyed crabbing and shell hunting on the beaches at dawn. The kitchen was stocked very well we cooked in most nights. The local seafood here is divine. The house was inviting and warm. The weather was cloudy at first, then sunny and beautiful 70-80's, nice breezy, need I say more? Seeing the island from the bike was a great way to get a 'feel' for the character of Ocracoke!
