Gemini offers single story canal front living in the community of Sound Shores on Ocracoke Island. On the water side of Gemini, enjoy deep water boat dockage at your doorstep providing easy access to the Pamlico Sound. Located at the intersection of two canals, Gemini's canal front decks and sun room offer water views in three directions.
Enjoy the evening sunsets.

Just outside your front door you will enjoy a private 11'X 29' pool available May 15 -September 30, 2010. The pool area offers a fully furnished deck, including outside bar with built-in refrigerator and gas grill.

The house is beautifully decorated with a slight European touch, providing a comfortable and cozy setting for your island vacation.

Two large bedrooms: each with 1 Queen Bed. For larger groups, there is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room and a queen sleeper sofa and twin size day bed in the water front sun room.

One bedroom offers an attached private bath with tub/shower. The second bedroom offers an attached bath with shower which can also be accessed via the bar area. Both generous sized bedrooms offer a TV, walk-in closest and open to a canal front deck.



Enjoy a well equipped kitchen overlooking a large living area with open floor plan. Gemini offers wonderful opportunities for family gatherings, entertaining or simply relaxing. At the other end of living area is a wet bar for your convenience. Enjoy a quiet getaway in one of the various areas offered throughout the house and outside living areas.

Dining table seats 8 and additional table offering seating for 4 provides additional seating or a place for a quick meal.

Amenities include central A/C heat, ceiling fans, front load washer & dryer, dishwasher, microwave, total 3 TV's including plasma TV with satellite, VCR/DVD, stereo, wireless internet access and desk area, phone and glassed sun porch with casement windows offering views of two canals. The gas fireplace located in the living area is available off season.

The exterior offers a 11'X 29' pool available May-September, outside hot/cold shower, open decks, outside bar, gas grill and built-in refrigerator. Boat dock with fish cleaning bench.

Linens provided. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 8 people, including children. Maximum 2 vehicles.

This unique property offers additional accommodations which are separated from the main house by a breezeway. Gemini Bungalow offers some independence from the main house. Gemini Bungalow offers a first floor bedroom with queen bed. The second floor offers a second bedroom with queen, a small kitchen and living area and bathroom. Please see property OC38A for a description of Gemini Bungalow or OC38B for a description of combined accommodations.

All I can say is "wow'. We've been coming to Ocracoke for 11 years now and this has been the best yet. My sister married her true love on the island. We stayed in the main house and she and her new husband stayed in the "bungalow." I cannot express in words how great our time was this week! The house is so beautiful yet "comfortable" at the same time. My eleven year old son loved the pool as did the rest of us. We grilled clams and tuna and made many wonderful dinners here in the kitchen. -- Vanderboegh

Had a great time in Gemini. Pulled the boat up behind the house and enjoyed South Point, Portsmouth and the sound. This is our 6th year and we hope to come for years to come. We will be looking forward to returning to Ocracoke the same week next year and to Gemini. -- Mease and Jordan

We needed a week away and Ocracoke and this house have been perfect. We rented bikes for the week and used them daily. We enjoyed kayaking, surfing and the Park Service programs, crabbing on the beach at night, fishing off the dock and going to the beach and the pool!!
