This tastefully decorated and lovingly cared for home offers a reverse floor. The open floor plan with cathedral ceilings provides a perfect setting for family gatherings and opens to an enclosed porch and decks. Your family meals will be enhanced by upgraded major appliances and specialty kitchen items. Generous decking throughout provide plenty of options for relaxation.

Off-site Boat Docking at Anchorage Inn Marina, Accommodating 26 Foot Boat with 10 ½ Foot Beam. Arrangements MUST be made for slip at time of making reservation! Please mention when calling the office or leave comment when booking online.

Three bedrooms: 2 w/King and 1 w/ a Pyramid bed (double on bottom, twin on top). 2 ½ baths.

Amenities include central A/C, ceiling fans, phone, wireless internet connection, printer, washer/dryer, 5 burner gas stove with a convection oven, dishwasher, microwave, wine refrigerator, Cappuccino/Espresso machine, waffle maker, 2 cable TV's, 2 DVD's, VCR, DVD library, book library, clock radio, game cube, stereo/CD, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, baby gate, porta-crib, toys/games and board games/puzzles.

The exterior offers an outside hot/cold shower, fish bench with sink, picnic table, hammock swing, deck swing, sun porch, decks, park style charcoal grill, paved driveway and parking under the house.

No Linens. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 7 people, including children.

Partial week stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed at this Ocracoke vacation home and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. You may either call the office at 877-646-2822 to book your partial week stay or you may book online under the nightly tab on this property page.

Journey's End is only available for monthly rentals from November 1 - April 21. Please call the office if you are interested in renting in increments of a month!

Journeys End has been the nicest property we've stayed since our visits to Ocracoke began 6 years ago. The hardwood floors were a real plus in the sandy environment! Everything fit our family great and we thoroughly enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen (although there could have been a few more cooking spoons LOL) and cooked every single day in it! We also love love loved that the A/C was adequate for the size of house and we never ran out of hot water....even when we ALL took showers after return from the beach. The outside shower and grill were very convenient. The reverse floor plan is great for family time and nap time for the little ones. The sunset from the sun room or top floor porch was quite nice as well. Thanks Journey's End for a great week! -- Brooke

Beautiful home. It was perfect for us. Comfortable, cozy with all the amenities. The Islanders are quite nice, hospitable. This really is a special place. Ocracoke has a great mix of simple living, the natural outdoors and people. We're definitely coming back.

We loved to bike. We had a great, great time. Ocracoke is one of our favorite places on earth. Each time we sit down to plan a vacation elsewhere we always end up back here. Thank you for making your home available to us! Loved the kitchen! Appliances and utensils were exceptionally nice for a rental. Upper floor was very cozy and felt very at home, just right for two! King size bed in master bedroom was comfortable. Washer and dryer were huge and worked very well. Sun room was nicely decorated. Loved the atmosphere down here and the wide open beaches. Had a great time! Love the island and will be back in the fall! Thanks again!

As soon as we walked in, I asked my husband if we could buy this house. He said no but we can come back! I liked everything about the house. We've rented many and this is the best. Our only complaint is that we had to share it. Next time it will be just the two of us.

The weather was between 80 and 90. There was only one rainy day but we still got out on the beach. We went out on the beach in the am for a long walk and back on the beach in the afternoon to relax and boogie board. After the beach we picked up clams for steaming. We loved you house! We will be back! Thank you!

The weather was sunny and lovely! It was great to be outside. My grandma and I loved getting up late while my dad and brother got up early and made pancakes. The beach was calm first half of the week-exciting, swam out to sand bar and rough the second half of the week-exciting! The house was so cool with all the porches. I like all the pictures on the wall. I also think this journal is cool. My brother loved the game cube. It stinks we have to leave but my brother and I start school this coming week. My grandma loved all the nice cups and dishes. I'm going to miss this house! I am so lucky I got to stay here! Loved the king size bed! We liked the green polk-a-dotted chair. Grandma and I liked the color of the upstairs bathroom. I am happy we were here in this wonderful house! The kitchen was equipped with everything!
