Amenities include a well-equipped kitchen newly remodeled for the 2012 season, including new cabinets and countertops. Central AC/heat, ceiling fans in bedrooms, kitchen and loft. Microwave, waffle maker, ice cream maker, dishwasher, 2 cable TVs with HBO and Showtime (includes one 46" flat screen), VCR/DVD, great video selection, wireless internet access, iPod speaker system, library, stereo/cassette, CD player, phone and washer/dryer. Telescope. Clock radio, hair dryer, iron/ironing board and board games/puzzles.
The exterior offers 2 screened porches and a large sun deck, park style charcoal grill, fish cleaning bench and hot/cold outdoor shower. Beach chairs.
No Linens. No Pets. No Smoking.
Maximum 6 people, including children. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Our first time visiting Ocracoke for more than a day was absolutely fantastic! We saw June online and decided to book it - we were not dissappointed. Love the loft for the kids and the screened in back porch. We found the week to be relaxing; it definitely recharged our batteries. Ocracoke is something special. The June house has been our family's little piece of heaven for the past 7 days. We thank you for every hour of it. The back porch was most definatly our favorite hang out spot. We enjoyed listening to the crickets and watching the lightning bug show. We recommend to anyone that comes to the island in June or July to go and visit the lighthouse around 10 at night and you will witness pure magic. Be sure to open your eyes and look to the left. This was our first visit to the June Cottage. We love the loft; that is where I stayed the most. I love the way the house is. It is quiet and relaxing especially with the lighthouse. My family has been coming to the island for 30 years and it is my 14th time coming and it will not be the last. I love this island and the cottage makes me feel at home. There are a lot of good memories of this cottage and I would love to come back here again. It is a two day drive for us to get here, but we all think its worth it. We enjoy discovering all the new touches added over the winter and quickly settled in to fishing, clamming, swimming and all the other fun things to do in the village. We had a wonderful week and we'd love to come back to "June". The house is so well appointed and maintained, it is our favorite so far. The views are lovely and the landscaping expecially nice.
