Description A charming 2 bedroom old-style Ocracoke Island cottage with spacious screened porch and a second story open-air dining cupola. Located in a quiet neighborhood with a distant sound view from the top deck, this cottage is a great choice for couples or a small family.
The Main House is two bedrooms: (1) w/Double and (1) w/ Bunk bed. Futon in living area. One full bath (shower only) and one half bath. Maximum occupancy for the main house is 4 people.

There is an extra available sleeping area "The Barn." The Barn is located above the garage (in a separate building) offering 3 twins and one half bath and providing an additional maximum occupancy for 3 people. *If both units are rented, there is an additional $100/wk charge (plus tax and optional trip insurance) with maximum total occupancy 7, including children. Please call our office toll free at 877-646-2822 if you would like to add "The Barn" to your reservation.
Large A/C unit, NO HEAT, ceiling fan, wireless internet access, flat screen TV with DVD and basic cable service in living room and additional TV in double bedroom. Microwave, dishwasher, phone, large kitchen/dining/living area with French doors leading onto the screened porch. NO HEAT. NO WASHER/DRYER.
The exterior offers a large screened porch with picnic tables, deck swing and ample seating. Decks. Outdoor shower. Park Style Charcoal Grill.
No Heat. No Pets. No Smoking. *Maximum 4 people, including children*. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Clouds, overcast, cool temp, soft pillows, bed, sleepy due, everything awoke by the waves first crash. Salty air to awake to chilly winds to keep you up. A cats purr and crickets became a sleepy melody. Until we meet again in the future. --

Man, this was a quick week! It's been so laid-back. This house was just perfect! There was enough space to spread out and have room and the porch was a great place to hang out together. We loved the privacy. This house had everything that we needed! Don't want to leave, looking forward to next year! Thanks for opening your home so others can enjoy it. Great times and good laughs. We were so close to the shops and restaurants it was easy to walk. We enjoyed catching the breeze in the 'birds nest' and seeing the sunrise. I'm going to miss this wacky old place! My daughters and I spent two glorious weeks here. By far the best summer yet. And I have spent 30 years of summers here in Ocracoke so that's really saying something. I would love to stay but my husband had to come physically remove me from the premises.
