DescriptionCharming and wonderfully clean and maintained, this Ocracoke Island vacation home is centrally located and is just a short walk or bike ride from many of the Village's historic attractions, including the British Cemetery, Ocracoke Preservation Museum, Ocracoke Working Waterman's Museum, and Silver Lake Harbor. Cut through Fig Tree Lane and you are quickly in the middle of "downtown Ocracoke" for shopping and restaurants. Lighthouse Jewel is the perfect choice for two couples or a small family. You will really feel like you're at the beach! The large backyard is perfect for a game of frisbee or horsehoes and the beautifully landscaped front yard greets you the minute you drive up.
Lighthouse Jewel has two (2) Bedrooms, each with Queen sized bed and 1 full bath with shower only.
Additional amenities include wireless internet access, a full sized washer and dryer, microwave, 3 color cable flat screen TV's with HBO, 2 DVD's, stereo and telephone. Hair dryer, iron and ironing board and clock radios. Window A/C, Zoneline heat/AC and ceiling fans. There is no Dishwasher.
The exterior offers the ever popular hot and cold outdoor shower - an Island favorite!! Sit and relax on the large screened porch with dining table, chairs and rocking chairs and watch the world go by. Further enjoy the outdoors on the deck, or by cleaning your catch at the fish bench and then cooking them just the way you like on the outdoor park style charcoal grill - all part of the large backyard. Linens are not provided. No Pets and No Smoking Please! The maximum occupancy for Lighthosue Jewel is 4 people, including children and parking is limited to 2 vehicles.

July 2009 Our favorite adventures: biking on the island, parasailing!!! Going to the beach. Fishing, watching the sunset on the pier. The weather was perfect. Mostly warm, rained one day. June 2009 Our favorite adventures: Exploring the island on our bikes. Walking to the marina to watch a beautiful sunset. Finding a secluded spot on the beautiful beach all to ourselves.
