Well maintained and well furnished, Marshmellow combines comfortable indoor living space with extensive decks and 2 screened eating areas to give you the perfect recipe for a memorable vacation.
4 bedrooms: 2 with Queen size bed, 1 with 2 Twin beds, 1 with Pyramid Bed (twin on top/double on bottom).
Enjoy central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, free unlimited domestic long distance service, answering machine, 2 cable TV's each with DVD/VCR, Showtime, HBO and Cinemax, a DVD library, a stereo with CD player, book library and full sized washer and dryer. The fully equipped kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker and waffle maker. Families with children will appreciate the convenience of a booster seat, port-a-crib, toys, games, board games and puzzles. For your convenience, Marshmellow provides hair dryers, an iron and ironing board, clock radios and outlet covers.
The exterior offers ample living areas including two levels of decking and two screened porches. New outdoor dining furniture on the rear deck offers sunset dining. Enjoy an outdoor park style charcoal grill, deck swings, hammock, hammock swing, fish cleaning bench, outdoor Hot and Cold shower and covered parking.
No Linens. No Smoking Please. Pets are welcome with no additional pet fee (maximum 2 pets). Maximum occupancy is 9 people, including children. Parking is limited to 4 vehicles.
Partial week stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed at this Ocracoke vacation rental and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. Another Thanksgiving at Marshmellow! The weather was surprisingly warm. We spent most afternoons on the beach and stayed for beautiful sunsets. On the beach past the pony pens the winds had uncovered an old ship wreck. What fun for us to explore it! By the time we left, the sands had buried it again. Glad we took photos to remember it. Didn't catch any fish worth keeping, good thing we had turkey!
Our family from Chapel Hill came for the holiday, as well as our cousin Sarah from London. How nice to be here together! The sky was spectacular at night, we had a full moon. Saturn was visible and we could even see the rings around it! Amazing! -- The McEntee Family
