This cozy cottage is perfect for a quiet retreat for two. Located on a quiet one-way street near the Lighthouse and Springer's Point Nature Preserve and completed by the small saltwater pond out the back door. Spend the day watching the ducks and other wildlife from the screened porch off the back of the house.

The Oar House is just a short walk to the natural treasures of the Springer's Point Wildlife Sanctuary. Hike the trails through the maritime forest or explore the sandy beaches of the Pamlico Sound. Observe beautiful twisted live oaks, cedars and yaupon among other native vegetation. Springer's Point is recognized for the significance of this maritime forest as a habitat for birdlife. If you don't feel like a walk, rest on the screened in porch and watch mother nature out your back door - ducks, egrets, ibis and blue herons frequent this small saltwater pond. Enjoy beautiful sunsets behind the lighthouse and cool seabreezes.

One bedroom with a King sized bed, 1 full bath with tub and shower.

Amenities include AC/heat unit, ceiling fans, microwave, cable TV, stereo, telephone and answering machine.

The exterior offers a hot/cold outdoor shower, screened porch, bulkhead and deck.

Linens are not provided. There is no Dishwasher or Washer/Dryer. No Pets and No Smoking Please. Maximum occupancy of 2 people, including children. Limit of 2 vehicles.

Partial stays of less than a week are welcomed and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. You may either call the office at 877-646-2822 to book your partial week stay or you may book online under the nightly tab on this property page.
