Description Located on Ocracoke Island, NC. This home is ideal for families requiring an additional sitting area. This reverse floor plan cottage offers a wide range of modern amenities. The downstairs sitting area is furnished with a coffeemaker, small refrigerator, microwave and toaster.
Three bedrooms: 2 w/Queen, 1 w/2 Twins. Queen sleeper sofa in the downstairs sitting area and one queen sleeper sofa in the upstairs living room. Each bedroom has its own full bath. High Chair. Ceiling fans and cable TV with DVD and CD player.
Central AC/heat, ceiling fans, 5 cable TV's with HBO and Showtime, 5 DVD's, 2 VCR's, DVD and VHS library, stereo w/CD player, extensive book library, clock radios in each bedroom, iron/ironing board, board games/puzzles, 2 phones, answering machine, high speed wireless internet access, 2 microwaves, dishwasher and washer/dryer. The exterior offers outdoor hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning bench with hose, charcoal grill, picnic table, Adirondack chaise, rockers and chairs. Screened porch with swing, decks, and covered parking.
NO CITY WATER; filtered and chlorinated harvested rainwater. Back-up system offers treated well water with a filtering, softener and chlorination system. Culligan water with two water dispensers.
Pets welcome - no pet fee (maximum 2 pets). NON-SMOKING. Maximum 8 people, including children. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Outside Over There welcomes reservations of partial week stays, three night miminum, which may be booked within two weeks of the arrival date. You may either call the office at 877-646-2822 to book your partial week stay or you may book online under the nightly tab on this property page.

"I dreamed of Ocracoke" and now I'm here! It's everything I dreamed of—and more! I'm in love with this magical, mysterious island. Ocracoke is truly another world-quiet, peaceful-a slower pace. Rest and recovery for the soul. October is the perfect time to be here. The beach is strewn with shells and a stroll down Howard Street at dusk is an exciting prelude to Halloween! I almost expected to see the ghost of Ikey D come galloping by!
The house is magnificent! Open and light with the sun streaming in. There is everything here to make any guest comfortable and feel at home. My favorite place is the comfy denim sofa! Give me a good book, afghan and a hot cup of coffee! And "my spot" on that sofa!

Well, here it is Wednesday, my week almost gone. Wow, what a fast week it has been. Feels like you have stepped back in time when you come to Ocracoke Island what a most perfect place in this world. No Wal-Mart, no Kmart, no McDonalds. Did not know a place like this existed! This home, no hub bub, a Beach House at any standard. This home surely feels like a home. You actually feel like you are in a tree house, looking out of the big windows. Don't care what room you go to. This home is decorated to the perfect way-could not ask for any more items here.
The queen size bed in the master bedroom is most comfortable-I can sleep like a baby here! I will be back. I have found the most perfect place here at Ocracoke.

We discovered Ocracoke last year while lighthouse hopping up the east coast. We were only passing through but found Ocracoke to be the most charming and beautiful place we visited. We vowed to return for an extended visit and we did, but not just a visit, a honeymoon as well. We tied the knot here on the island April 30th and this was the honeymoon suite. We live in Florida where we experience daily "fun" & "sun", so this trip was truly getting away from it all for us.
We love the island, the people and this house. We plan to return as often as we can. Thanks for the wonderful accommodations! -- Joey and Mary Tarantino

What a beautiful home! We enjoyed our week so much. We came with my in-laws from Maryland and I from New Hampshire. This is definitely a way to live. The house is decorated so lovely with every little detail and special added touch. -- Valerie
