The well equipped kitchen and modern appliances make your stay comfortable and convenient for family gatherings. The various outdoor areas offer serene water views certain to maximize relaxation.

Pickled Ocra boasts 3 bedrooms: (2) each offering a King bed, (1) with 2 pyramid bunks (2 full and 2 twins), 2 ½ baths.

Central AC/heat, ceiling fans, gas fireplace (off season only), wireless internet access, 4 cable TV's. 3 DVD's, stereo with CD and ipod speaker system and phone.

The the well equipped kitchen offers a dishwasher, microwave, *Keurig home brewing system in addition to a standard coffee maker and tea kettle. Washer/dryer.

The exterior offers a screened porch, multiple decks including the popular waterfront deck with hammock, gas grill, outdoor H/C shower and shared shallow water dockage. Picked Ocra offers 2 kayaks (1 double and one single). Guests are required to provide life preservers.

Pets welcome - no pet fee (maximum 2 pets). Large pet crate provided (capacity up to approximately 65 lbs.).

No Linens. No Smoking. Maximum 8 people, including children.

Partial week stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed at this Ocracoke vacation rental and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. You may either call the office at 877-646-2822 to book your partial week stay or you may book online under the nightly tab on this property page.

*Please bring your own coffee pods as they are not currently available on Ocracoke.

The house was amazing for our small group. Very well maintained. Lots of space, huge living/dining/kitchen open area. Great interior decoration and furniture "cottage style". Really nice how they recycled old furniture into decor. We've been in bigger houses with pool in Hatteras, but this one really had something special; very confortable and relaxing.
Owners really put a lot of effort into it and we thank them!

We espacially appreciated; the gas BBQ, the screened porch (we ate outside every night), gas stove, the ice maker, kayaks etc...The master bedroom was also great.
The location of the house is excellent; close to the village, but still very calm and with a great view; lots of birds and very "zen".

We enjoyed the village and biking around and to the beach. The bike path to the beach they added a few years ago is great. A special notice to the ocracoke coffee shop (great lattes and smoothies) and the "over the moon" shop!

A lot of bugs and mosquitoes, but it was a minor inconvenience and nothing you could control...Some tools and tupperware could be had in the kitchen, but nothing major.

Pickled Ocra was perfect from the beginning to end! Your home is beautifully decorated and thoughtfully and comfortably furnished. It felt like home from the very first day. Even two weeks of Ocracoke Island paradise isn't enough! We quickly fell into 'island' time - time marked only by watching ferries arrive and depart. Even weather could be determined by ferries approach paths in and out of the harbor. Weather was delightful! Sunny, breezy, with warm days and cold nights. It rained one day. We loved biking, kayaking, riding in the golf cart, shelling, shopping, playing fames around the dining room table, exploring, meeting islanders who patiently answered our questions and shared so much with us, taking lots of pictures of sunsets, silver lake and shore birds. The Back Porch, Dajio, and The Flying Melon fed us often and well in between home cooked meals of grilled fresh seafood from Patty and Hardy at the fish house. Today is the last day of a very enjoyable, relaxing vacation. We have really enjoyed the beach house. Everything from the decor to the amenities to the fabulous view was outstanding. We loved that we were able to bring our dog, Maddie as well. This was our first trip to Ocracoke, and I hope the first of many. WE will definitely plan to return to this beautiful house. Our son had a blast fishing off the little dock behind the house and kayaking in North Pond. The vacation was perfect and we've spent our first three days just hanging out on the sound with your labs. Truly relaxing! We feel so fortunate to have found Ocracoke and spend 2 lovely weeks here (2009 & 2010). …. This May, we found a little more heaven here with a view of the sound. Great in rain and sunshine! Love the yellow beadboard walls and shabby chic furniture. I felt right at home. The upstairs deck was perfect for doing Tai Chi in the mornings! -- Carole, Lowell & Maxwell

We had such a wonderful time, this is the perfect house and the perfect setting! … Our beagle mix, Ruby, loved it here. She sunned herself on the deck upstairs and in the backyard.
