Second Wind is the perfect romantic couples getaway. The open layout for the kitchen, living room, and dining room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine and warm sea breezes. Spread out on the outside deck over-looking the canal and watch the minnows school.
The large master suite upstairs has a King sized bed and extra sitting space along with a small deck outside as well. 1 full bath upstairs plus an additional half bath downstairs.
Additional amenities include central Air-conditioning and heat, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, cable TV, VCR/DVD, stereo/CD, high speed internet access, phone and answering machine, VHS and book library, games, beach chairs, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. The exterior offers an outdoor hot/cold shower, dock, decks, charcoal grill and fish bench.
All linens are provided. No Pets and No Smoking Please. Maximum occupancy of 2. Limit of 2 vehicles.

This is, by far, the finest (and best equipped and decorated) rental home in which we have ever stayed. We brought a bag of books to read, but did not open a single one - your library was too fascinating to pass up! We were equally fascinated by the wildlife (egrets and ducks-who are shameless beggers-and a "family" of otters-who are shameless thieves!) We had a wonderful time. This week has gone by so fast. We had a great time, and especially loved the house. This was our 5th trip to Ocracoke together and our favorite house! It was so nice to watch the fireworks on the beach! A perfect 4th of July. The weather was perfect all week. We loved staying here! I exclaimed out loud when we walked in - how beautiful it was - sunny, airy, lots of space for our "stuff" and colorful yet peaceful décor and perfect floor plan for two people. My wife & I have been coming to Ocracoke for the past eight years during the first part of July. A whole group of us enjoy two full weeks of sun, eating & shopping. We have often considered a Fall trip but have never followed through with it. We decided to make the trip this year, and wow! Your home was super nice & met every one of our needs.
