Second Wind is the perfect romantic couples getaway. The open layout for the kitchen, living room, and dining room is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunshine and warm sea breezes. Relax on the waterside decks over-looking a canal with direct access to Pamlico Sound.
The large master suite upstairs has a King sized bed and extra sitting space along with a small deck outside as well. 1 full bath upstairs plus an additional half bath downstairs.
Additional amenities include central Air-conditioning and heat, wireless internet access, ceiling fans, washer and dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 cable TV's, VCR/DVD, video and book library, iPod speaker system, stereo/CD, phone, games, iron and ironing board and hair dryer. The exterior offers an outdoor hot/cold shower, dock, decks, charcoal grill and fish bench. Beach umbrella and beach chairs.
All linens are provided. No Pets and No Smoking Please. Maximum occupancy of 2. Limit of 2 vehicles.

We enjoyed Second Wind very much! I wanted to let you know how much we loved staying here. Love the ability to launch our kayaks into the canal and paddle to the sound or the back side of the island, and as an accomplished cook, I found everything I needed and more. This is, by far, the finest (and best equipped and decorated) rental home in which we have ever stayed. We brought a bag of books to read, but did not open a single one - your library was too fascinating to pass up! We were equally fascinated by the wildlife (egrets and ducks-who are shameless beggers-and a "family" of otters-who are shameless thieves!) We had a wonderful time. We loved staying here! I exclaimed out loud when we walked in - how beautiful it was - sunny, airy, lots of space for our "stuff" and colorful yet peaceful décor and perfect floor plan for two people. My wife & I have been coming to Ocracoke for the past eight years during the first part of July. A whole group of us enjoy two full weeks of sun, eating & shopping. We have often considered a Fall trip but have never followed through with it. We decided to make the trip this year, and wow! Your home was super nice & met every one of our needs.
