DescriptionEnjoy this unique and charming cottage in the private community of Sunset Village. Perfect for a quiet Ocracoke vacation retreat. Reminiscent of a New England style coastal cottage, the separate kitchen/living room and dining area add to the charm. Great for a small family or couples who enjoy privacy. Tastefully decorated.
2 bedrooms: 1 w/Queen bed and 1 w/Double. A small loft in the living area with ladder access offers a twin bed. The full bath with tub/shower with sloping ceiling is located in the rear sleeping area. A half bath is located in the front living area.
Amenities include: washer/dryer, microwave, phone, wireless internet access, cable and 2 TV's, VHS and DVD player along with an extensive video library including VHS tapes and DVDs. Additional amenities include a book library, board games and iron/ironing board.
Front living area offers a wall heat/air unit and the rear building offers window AC units in bedrooms and a baseboard heat unit in the sitting area.
The exterior offers H/C outdoor shower, 2 small decks, and a fish cleaning bench.
Bed Linens Provided for Queen and Full Bed (no towels). No Pets. NON-SMOKING. Maximum 4 people, including children. Limit of 2 cars.
Partial week stays of less than a week (3 night minimum) are welcomed at this Ocracoke vacation rental and may be booked within 2 weeks of your desired arrival date. We became Mr. and Mrs. O'Neil at The Shrimp House. Nancy Leach performed the perfect intimate ceremony. We love Ocracoke and decided to get married on the island. The Shrimp House was so cute and cozy we decided to do the ceremony on the deck. We love the house and hope to return in the spring. Weather was overall good.
