Amenities include central air & heat, ceiling fans, stereo w/CD, tape player and iPod connection, XM radio, 4 cable TV's , 2 VCR's, 1 DVD, wireless internet access, electric piano with synthesizer, phone with answering machine and free unlimited domestic long distance service, microwave, dishwasher, cappuccino maker and washer/dryer. Additional amenities include a VHS and book library, board games/puzzles, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, clock radio and baby gate. Complimentary Daily Newspaper Delivery of The Virginian-Pilot.

The exterior offers large screened porch, ample decking and sundeck, picnic table, deck swing, hammock, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill, fish cleaning bench and covered parking. Beach chairs and boogie boards.

Linens provided (sheets and towels) and beds made for your arrival. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 6 people, including children. No Partial Week Stays.

Thank you for providing a very welcoming home for my family to stay this week. My daughter made some new friends and they enjoyed the screen porch and deck to hang out after the days at the beach. My husband spent his summers here as a child and is pleased that the environment at Sisters was very relaxing. We hope to return next year. Your home has added to our great vacation. It has been so relaxing and fun. We had a wonderful trip to Portsmouth Island with Wade. We were treated to a large school of dolphins on the trip over. We were also able to do the entire tour of Portsmouth Village which was fantastic. The kids earned their Junior Ranger badges and learned a lot in the process. What a relaxing week we had! The weather was perfect - mid to upper 80's all week and only a couple showers. The daily bike rides and walks on the beach helped to work off some of the excessive amount of good food we ate. We tried parasailing for the first time - it was a fun adventure (highly recommend it). It has been a pleasure staying in your wonderful house. Sisters is most comfy and has all the charm one would expect on Ocracoke. Thank you so much Riggs, we had a great week. -- The Cherries and Clems

We have had a wonderful week here in beautiful Ocracoke. Your home is lovely and we especially enjoyed the many decks and porches. We cooked wonderful seafood meals and thoroughly enjoyed our beach walks. We really enjoyed renting "Sisters" and hope to return. It is the perfect family beach house! We had a perfect vacation. Smacnally's every afternoon to see the charter boats come in. This is our sixth year on the island and we love it more each time. The house was perfect, the screened porch a delight. The breeze was just enough to keep us cool in the evenings. -- The Jenkins

This is the perfect vacation setting - quaint village, ocean views, abundant vegetation. Although I'm a North Carolina resident and have lived in Western North Carolina for several years, I have been amazed at what a wonderful getaway destination this is - in our own state! Arriving here by the Swan Quarter Ferry was such a fun and unique experience. Then, the "Sisters" house was such a great surprise. A beautiful home with wonderful amenities as a vacation retreat. I've enjoyed walking everywhere and seeing the fun and historic sights. I'm looking forward to visiting again. We've driven a long way from south central Kansas for our first visit to Ocracoke. Boy, was it worth the long drive. This little village has a charm to it. Hopefully, it will never become too mainstream and developed. Your house is beautiful and comfy. Such beautiful and clean beaches too! Great week again at Sisters and can't wait to return in September. We brought friends from the Asheville area for their first OBX trip and they loved everything. Thank you for a lovely home.
