Ride your bike to Silver Lake Harbor, shopping & galleries, walk to the Ocracoke Coffee Company, playground & library, enjoy a cold drink from the 2nd refrigerator on the back screened porch, or just relax—you're on vacation!
3 bedrooms. Two with King Beds and one with a Pyramid Bunk with Trundle. 2 Full Baths (1 with tub and 1 with shower).
Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, electric fireplace (year round), wireless internet access, 5 cable w/HBO TV's, 4 DVDs, 1 Blu-ray DVD, DVR, VCR, video library, iPod speaker system, stereo, 3 phones with unlimited domestic long distance and answering machine. Parents will appreciate the Pack-N-Play and high chair.
Fully equipped kitchen, including two full size refrigerators, wine refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and dishwasher. Washer/dryer. Additional amenities include book library, iron and ironing board, 3 clock radios, 2 hair dryers and board games/puzzles.
The exterior offers a front porch, rear screened porch, deck swing, outside hot/cold shower, park style charcoal grill, fish bench and covered parking.

We love coming to Ocracoke for our vacations and your home made it great for us. Very comfortable with lots of extras. Thank you. Our Great Dane "Dallas" enjoyed her naps on the porches, walks on the beach and meeting a lot of nice folks. The weather was cloudy a few days but the sunny days made up for it. Lots of fun in the sun. The fenced in backyard is wonderful and Dallas enjoyed the yard for a week. We hope to stay here again next season. Thank you. -- The Doughtys

This is our third year on Ocracoke and once again we've enjoyed vacationing here very much. And best of all, we were not chased away by a hurricane! Your home is very comfortable, well equipped and well located. Our 16 month old Labrador Retriever enjoyed sunbathing on the back porch and made good use of the back yard. We have two boys and brought one of their friends with us. Together, we have biked, fished (and I really mean fishing - not catching), went kayaking, flew a kite, and enjoyed the beach as well as the Pamlico Sound. Crabbing was quite successful and yummy. If we had more time I would have definitely enjoyed joining a Yoga-Thai Chi class in the water. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. We bought fresh fish and seafood in town which we cooked here; enjoyed breakfast; and occasionally dined out at Jason's, The Flying Melon and The Back Porch. We enjoyed staying this week on Ocracoke in your vacation home, So Dandy. My husband, 17 year old daughter and I drove here from Guntersville, Alabama. My oldest daughter, son-in-law, 15 month old grandson and their toy poodle came here from Suffolk, Virginia. The beach was beautiful at all times of the day, whether we went early in the morning, just before lunch, or just before sunset. We built sand castles, watched crabs and birds, played in the water and collected some pretty shells. We went sight seeing and took a lot of photos. Our two favorite shops were Over the Moon and The Village Craftsmen. Some of our favorite restaurants were Howard's Pub, Jason's Cafe and the Sweet Tooth. We also enjoyed using the grill at your vacation home. We found So Dandy to be very comfortable. Even though the power went off one day, we were not inconvenienced since you have a generator! -- Beverly
