TestimonialsNovember 2010 The weather was awesome 60-68 degrees every day. We loved watching the sun come up on the top deck, riding bikes all over the island and watching the full moon from the deck. We really enjoyed your wonderful house. Your home provided much fun with our friends. Ocracoke is a very neat place that will stay in our hearts. Thank you. -- Marty and Jean
August 2010 Thanks so much for opening your home. We loved it! Seeing the lighthouse from the window is so great. We saw a couple of cool storms from the roof top deck. As usual we had a great week. For the first time we visited Portsmouth Island. How totally interesting that was. We did some shopping and spent lots of time at the beach. We put your new stove to good use. As always your house feels like a second home to us. We actually tried clamming and it went well. It's actually addictive. We also went kayaking, which we have been doing for a few years now. It's always fun to kayak to Springer's Point. All in all we had another great week on Ocracoke but couldn't find a way to make the time here not go so fast?! --
August 2010 Totally LOVE Wild Peony. Never want to stay anywhere else. Especially with their roof top deck, and view of the lighthouse from the living room. I go to bed thinking I need to leave on a nightlight, and then I remember the giant one outside. -- Jodi
July 2010 Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful house! The views from the sky deck were unbelievable! My family had a reunion here this week and the view of the lighthouse was many times the topic of conversation. As a child, my family vacationed in Ocracoke in the 1960s and we have returned many times over the years. The incredible ocean and beach, the quaint village and the wonderful 'spirit' of Ocracoke is unmatched. We spent our week rekindling family relationships, heading to the beach, browsing the shops, boating on the sound and visiting some of the local restaurants, but we made a point to return to Wild Peony to take in the sunset and stargaze from the upper deck. We even saw several shooting stars! Again-thank you! -- The Burleys
June 2010 The Travis and Lauron family had a great week here. Noah loves the beach and adjusted well. The views from the house are great. We had great weather. The fishing was slow as it was hot. The ocean was glassy almost every day. I love outdoor showers. This is the quietest house I have stayed in on Ocracoke. -- Travis and Lauron Family
June 2010 A great house. Second visit to the house. 14th visit as a family to the island. Weather was great, sunny the first 3 days then in the mid 80's for the rest of the week. A nice day at the beach as always. This house is a lot like home; quiet, love the view of the lighthouse and marsh and all the birds. Love riding bikes, walking, doing nothing! A great fun filled week on Ocracoke. Thanks so much for sharing your beach house. -- The Bailey Family
