DescriptionThis OBX vacation home is located on Ocracoke Island. Just imagine an adorable cozy little cottage filled with sunlight, beautifully and meticulously decorated, located down a quiet tree-lined path in the heart of the Village. Zillie's was partially constructed from a recycled 1930's Ocracoke cottage and is designed just for two people. A perfect romantic getaway retreat. The first floor boasts a 10' high ceiling with an incredible ceiling fan, painted beadboard walls, and beautiful maple hardwood floors.
The well-equipped efficiency kitchen includes a refrigerator/freezer, a two-burner cook top, a micro-convection oven, dishwasher, and a coffeemaker. The entertainment center has cable flat screen TV with a VCR/DVD player, Bose IPOD dock and a stereo. Extensive DVD movie collection. Wireless high speed internet. Upstairs there is also a unique ceiling fan, a bedroom with a Queen bed, a bathroom with shower (only), a private porch, and a balcony.
There is a second flat screen TV/VCR for the bedroom. Central heat/AC, telephone, clock radio, washer/dryer, iron and ironing board, board games/puzzles and book library.
The exterior offers a hot/cold outdoor shower, two bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, umbrella and coolers, and a park style charcoal grill. NO CITY WATER, there is potable ground water with a filtering and chlorination system.
Linens Provided. No Pets. No Smoking. Maximum 2 people, including children. Limit 1 vehicle.
Allows partial week stays, 3 night minimum, booked within 2 weeks of the arrival date. Please call for reservations of partial week stays.
