Thanksgiving is just around the corner. It’s time to plan the annual celebration with family and friends.
Get together with fellow runners, burn some calories and have fun before the Thanksgiving feast!
Angie’s Gym and 1718 Brewing have teamed up again this year to bring you this fun event which is a fundraiser for the Ocracoke School PTA.
Everyone is welcome to run, walk or cheer the runners on at the 8am event that begins and ends at 1718 Brewing.
As always, participants can run in the race for free or join the fundraiser.
For an entry fee of $20 you will receive an insulated lunch tote, just in time for carrying Thanksgiving leftovers. This festive tote features artwork by Catherine Todd.
All paid entries will be entered in a raffle for a delicious locally baked desert.
The first paid entrant to cross the Finish Line will also be presented a delicious local desert.
After finishing the race, runners in this fundraising event will be treated with 1718 Brewing locally brewed beer and there will even be root beer for the kids!
You won’t want to miss out on the fun. This is a great event for the entire family!
