"We never received the secure code to enter the house so we called the emergency number after 5:00 and the number was texted to us. In past visits to this house my husband and our dog Murphy had enjoyed playing toss and retrieve in the yard. This visit, I had to clean up 8-10 piles of dog poop from prior renters before they could play in the yard. It was raining the day we arrived but that shouldn’t have resulted in that many poop piles not having been cleaned up by prior renters. The vegetation beside the gate leading outside the yard also needs to be trimmed back. Overall we enjoyed the house and loved the new appliances installed since our last visit. We will definitely be renting Sunkissed again. "

"May 2016 Stay - We loved this cottage! Our family vacations in Ocracoke every year, but it was fantastic to be able to stay together (and our 2 labs). The house was great, and so was it's location. Very close to restaurants and shops, and quiet enough to walk the dogs every day. I'm sure we will stay here again!"

Slice of Island life on the "Sand Bar"
We fell in love with Sun Kissed from the "get go". Perfect home for the two of Us, and our Pup. Great location, with the "Mayberry" feel to the location. The cottage has been decorated in a beach décor, with that Island atmosphere. Plenty of elbo room in the living quarters, with more than enough room in the covered parking area, to unload Your beach gear, and still have plenty of room to relax and chill in the outdoors. Enjoy or morning walks on the quiet streets, and then to watch the town come alive, from the screened porch. Easy access to the beach, shops, and ice/groceries & spirits. It has been our retreat since. This review is being written in 2020, and we have stayed numerous times threw the Years, and have 3 weeks planed this fall of 2020. "

First time to the island and loved it!! Slow pace, lots of nature and friendly people. The best part was bringing our dogs. They loved it just as much as we did.
