After coming to Ocracoke for about 30 years, we have found a cottage that we love. This was our second stay and we hope to have many more. We love cooking special meals with our family after a day on the beach and this kitchen is well equipped with special touches from the owner. We are looking forward to staying here again next year. "

Luna Sea is a great cottage! Well appointed and an excellent location. We did reserve bikes for the week in advance of our arrival and they were never delivered, we called to inquire and they were promised again but never came. I would recommend just waiting and renting when you arrive. "

We loved Luna Sea. The cottage is very charming and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The BBQ on the deck allowed us to grill freshly caught fish and shrimp throughout the week. Both front and rear decks are nice and quite private. Plenty of parking and centrally located so we walked around the village every morning and afternoon with our dog. The bedrooms have comfortable beds with plenty of blankets if needed. The AC and WiFi worked perfectly. The couch in the living room was nice and big and our family of 4 enjoyed it every night as we watched movies and played games with the selection offered. The beach was a quick drive from the house, restaurants and coffee shops a quick stroll away. We ended up renting a golf cart for fun and our 9 & 12 year old loved it. Great location. We loved the place. From the kind note and gifts left by the owners to the included linens to the great and comfortable accommodations we loved the rental and are planning to return next year."

Luna Sea is a very charming, well equipped little beach cottage that is perfect for a small family (and their dog!) to enjoy everything Ocracoke has to offer. The kitchen is very well stocked, the house is very clean, the AC works great, and the location was perfect...almost centrally located, making everything Ocracoke has to offer easily walkable. While it's not a high end, luxurious beach front rental, Luna Sea was exactly what we were looking for; a simple, charming, clean cottage in a great location for me, my wife, and our dog to enjoy an amazing week in Ocracoke. I would not hesitate to recommend Luna Sea to anyone looking for the same, and would stay here again in the future!"

"Thanksgiving 2017 visit
We arrived on the island with our 12 year old, our 1-month old and a dog! Needless to say, we were worried that maybe the cottage would feel cramped! Not at all! Luna Sea was the perfect fit for our family - our oldest loved his room and had plenty of room to himself. We were able tofit our pack-n-play crib in the master bedroom with no issues! The cottage is so well appointed - we had everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving meal! From a design standpoint, I really appreciated the way the cottage was decorated! And the pillows - some soft (the way I like them) and some firm (the way my husband prefers). The cottage boasts a fun movie collection and we stayed in a couple of nights and relaxed on the comfy couch. We love Luna Sea so much that weve decided to come back again for the summer and next Thanksgiving! "
