Welcome to pet friendly Exiled on Main Street. This spacious historic home is located on Ocracoke’s main road. Enjoy walking distance to restaurants, shops, the local grocery store, and 1718 Brewing Ocracoke, located right next door.

This unique home includes a two-story main home with 5 bedrooms plus a 1 bedroom second-floor rear apartment with a private entrance. Exiled on Main Street is available only as a combined vacation rental.

This village home offers a taste of old Ocracoke-style living with the conveniences of a modern home. Beadboard walls and hardwood floors combined with both antique and newer furnishings make this home a truly comfortable blend of yesteryear and today. Updated bedrooms offer modern comforts in a classic beach cottage setting.

Relax on the comfortable covered porch and watch the world go by.

6 Bedrooms and 6 Bath (each with shower). 4 King Beds. 1 Queen. 1 Twin and Pyramid Bunk Bed (double on bottom/Twin on top).

Amenities include central air conditioning/heating, heat and air units, and ceiling fans. Complimentary wireless Internet access and 7 internet TVs. Two kitchens. Dishwasher, 2 full-size refrigerators, and 2 microwaves. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival, with the exception of the top bunk.

The exterior offers a covered front porch, rear covered porch, outdoor shower, enclosed rear yard, and a fish cleaning bench.

No Smoking/Vaping.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limited of 2 Dogs. Parking is limited to 6 cars.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at the time of booking.

Short Stays are available; there is a three-night minimum, and these stays can be booked within two weeks of arrival.

First Floor Main House: Living Room, Dining, Eat-in Kitchen, Sunroom, Bedroom with King, shared bath with shower (Bedroom and Dining Room access.) Laundry Room.

Second Floor Main House: Two Bedrooms each with a King Bed and a private Master Bath with a shower. Bedroom with Queen Bed and private Master Bath with shower. Bedroom with Twin Bed, and a Pyramid Bunk (double on bottom/twin on top) and private Master Bath with shower.

Second Floor Apartment: Open Living, Dining, Kitchen. Bedroom with King Bed and private bath with shower.

A wonderfully special place.
I have stayed at many different beach houses at many different beaches and I just wanna say this one has been the best. My girl and I booked it due to the amenities and central location to everything we love on our favorite island. The big Victorian style beach home has a sprawling layout with a great essence from the decor that’s not your typical cheesy beach house vibe. As chefs we loved the big open and very functional kitchen/dinette area where we played the best radio station ever 90.1 WOVV on the house stereo and cooked all the local seafood we sourced! It has a mud room attached with a full extra fridge/freezer along with the washer and dryer that you come it thru from the side porch which was so nice. There’s a full dining room and big table so friends and families can sit down and eat together and a very nice living room set up with a large tv for those slow lazy rainy days. The bedrooms are big and spacious with comfy beds that all have flatscreen TVs and their own AC units upstairs. The bathrooms are very nice and clean and updated along with the rest of the house. We really enjoyed the side study/lounge room with the very comfortable leather couches and chairs. There’s a top addition apartment that comes with the house also we didn’t go in there and spend much time but we use the deck for the views relaxation so it would be a great thing for your ruley teenagers or folks that want their private space. It has a wonderful fenced in big yard that’s dog friendly which is huge for use dog lovers. Really loved the big deck area that is covered along with the small screen porch, outdoor shower and outdoor dining area. I’m a big Howard‘s Pub fan so being next-door for a quick cocktail and conch fritters or a short stumble home from late night drinks ruled . I’m telling you this place is magical and I cannot wait to bring back a pile of my friends and fill it up and have the best vacation ever again. Cheers and long live “Exiled on Main!”"
