"Escape Hatch was wonderful! It took us back in time and reminded us of our childhood at grandmas house. We loved the screened porch and it’s secluded feel from everything. The kitchen had all the necessary items for making meals and the dining table was perfect for nightly family games. We loved the lookout deck off of our room. It was amazing for the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets!! You could see the entire island. We are looking forward to booking with OIR again next year!!!"

"House was very dated, which we knew from the photos, however, there were furniture/items that just needed to be replaced they were so damaged/old or dirty. The space of the house was great, if some minor updates are made I think this would be a great place to stay again. "
