Enjoy a waterfront vacation on Ocracoke in this charming pet friendly cottage, perfect for a couple or small family. Aleta offers an open-designed living/dining area with vaulted ceilings, skylights and a second story loft sitting and sleeping area. Handicap accessibility via entrance ramp, wide doors and a 3 foot entrance door to the first floor bathroom with shower with shower seat. Covered parking provides access to the exterior stairway and access ramp offering easy access and wheel chair accessibility.
1 Bedroom, 2 Baths: Sleeping loft with Queen, Queen Sleeper Sofa in living area.
Enjoy preparing meals in the generous kitchen. An adjoining screened porch overlooks a pleasant rear yard with live oak trees and the bulkheaded canal.
Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 2 smart TVs with DVD player and bluetooth CD stereo system. Fireplace (Off-Season Only). Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.
The exterior offers *private boat dockage, bulkhead with ladder offering easier water access for kayakers, covered porches, a screened porch, outdoor dining table, grill, hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning bench with water and electric and storage shed. Covered parking. Two single person kayaks for exploring the nearby marshes. Life jackets are not provided, if you wish to rent them, please contact Ride The Wind Surf Shop. They will be happy to assist.

*Boat dockage at this property is located on the inner side of the canal bridge. Height clearance may be limited, dependent upon individual boat height. Boaters should anticipate five foot vertical clearance at high tide. If you have specific questions, please note them in the special request section when making your reservation. Beautiful Home
We have been visiting Ocracoke for over 25 years. This is one of nicest homes we have stayed in. Immaculate! Has everything you need. Only concerns were the dogs across the street-constantly barking. Also stairs can be slippery if you are just in socks. Unfortunately I fell the first day and broke a bone. Otherwise it was an amazing vacation."

It was a great place to stay at the outer banks! The house was immaculate clean, bed comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need. The a/c worked great the screen porch was delightful! Our pugs enjoyed the house as much as we did and this was our second time staying there. Great location and what hidden gem!"

It is a beautifully appointed home and a perfect place for a couple. We very much appreciated the ability to bring our dog, and the ramp made his stay much easier, since he didnt have to do steps. We have stayed 4 other places, and this is our favorite so far. What we would bring next time:A mattress topper. While the mattress is good and supportive, we like a little more softness for our 60 year old bones. Folding chairs. Ditto the above thought for the seating on the fabulous screened porch and dock. "
