This older Island cottage is truly a step back in time. Located on the water at the entrance of Silver Lake, Windmill Point cottage boasts a great wraparound screened porch and decks which extend right over the water. Watch the boats and the ferries come and go from your own private dock.

2 bedrooms, 1 Bath: 1 with Queen, 1 with two Twins. The bath offers a tub/shower.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, complimentary wireless internet access, and 1 cable TV. The kitchen includes a microwave.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers private boat dockage, screened porch, expansive deck, picnic table, gas grill and hot/cold outdoor shower.

No Dishwasher. NO WASHER. NO DRYER.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Stayed July 2023

"The only negative issue I have to say is the check-in time for the rental. I understand it has to be cleaned, and there are lots of units to clean with a small crew, but it still doesn't seem right to start the rental week on Saturday and you can't even get in the unit until the afternoon, last two years at 2:00 and previous around 4:30. Wish there was a better system. Other than that, I have enjoyed staying at Windmill Point and working with OIR. "

The waterside location, "lakeside" views, and the simplistic feel that Meeker Cottage II at Windmill Point offers is what brought us back for another two week stay. We love the comfy, cozy energy and rustic seclusion that exists here as much during this stay in 2018 as we experienced during the same time frame in October 2013. We appreciate the heat system upgrade which offers just the right warmth on a few of our cooler days and nights! We admire the excellent deck/porch carpentry renovations upon raising up the cottage several feet above the water since our last stay as well. The views and serenity continue to cement our love for this rental."
