Swing in the porch swing or rock in one of the wooden rocking chairs and watch the world go by. Relax on the rear deck perfect for relaxation.
3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths: 1 Queen with private bath with glass shower is located on the first floor. Second floor with 1 bedroom with Queen bed and 1 bedroom with two Twin beds. Full bath has tub/shower.
Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, and cable TV with a sound bar. The kitchen offers a gas stove. Washer and dryer.
The exterior offers a covered front porch with porch swing and rockers, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

We stayed in the Mary Francis house for a week in late April, 2019. We arrived after hours without any issue. Our welcome packet was easily accessible at the realty office. The house was spotless when we got there and well stocked with the types of essentials needed for our stay (paper products, cleaning supplies, etc.). We had one issue during the week with the A/C unit completely shutting down one evening. It wasn't urgent as it was quite cool at the time, but it was taken care of the next day and we had no other problems with it. We've rented through OIR many times over the years and have always found them to be very helpful and attentive to our needs. And the off-peak season rates provide a great value. We selected the Mary Francis because it accepts pets and is close to the heart of the village. We found the furnishings very comfortable and loved the big front porch."

The Mary Francis was a wonderful place to stay! We loved the it is one of the older homes on the island. The renovations done allow for the perfect combination of original charm and modern convenience. We were greeted with a warm note and a bottle of wine from the owners. Very nice touch! We love that the Mary Francis allows dogs and our dog, Millie, was very comfortable and loved to hang out on the front porch. We called her our "island girl". Be sure to bring a bed for your dog as all of the floors are hardwood. (We brought two for our spoiled girl.) This was a lovely, comfortable, well-appointed home for a glorious week on Ocracoke!"
