nice surprise and doubled as an extra

Very well stocked kitchen
This was a very nice and comfortable home. Ditto, I love the jellyfish pole lamp and matching table lamp. The kitchen essentials are well supplied (including the odd tapered wine glasses). LOL. My only disappointment was the fence gaped in places and had damage that had not been repaired obviously since a prior comment dated in May which required my daughter and I to scrounge for items to block the bigger openings before I could let my Terriers off of their leashes. I also appreciate the owner's allowing me to lease the home for an extra day. I brought 2 lamps to give the owners as a thank you gift. I hope that they notice and like them."

Lovely rental and perfect for families
Stayed in Havana Cabana for 2 weeks and had no complaints. Things not noted on the listing that were assets: grill (park style but well maintained), reverse osmosis water filtration in kitchen (slooow but we just did a pitcher and did bottles and ice from that), tankless hot water. Furnishings were new, comfy and unique (love the jellyfish light!). The kitchen is well Stocked, with great knives and a great gas range. 2nd floor bedrooms have skylights that don’t have shades but can be remedied with an eye mask for those who don’t want to wake early (we taped up a sheet and black bag in the kids rooms) TV had all kinds of Channels with a FireStick but no ‘regular’ tv (the kids played around with it ok but it’s got a few steps that are common for connecting to different streaming platforms). Finally, the yard porch are also nice—large dog and kids enjoyed running around there but small dogs might get under the fence. There’s 2 kayaks but we didn’t get a chance to use them this trip. Maybe next time!!"

Great place be careful with toddlers
We lived this house, great location, well stocked kitchen and lots of room for the family. The only we issue we had was with my toddler and some safety concerns see below for the story. Will stay here again when our son is older. The only issue we had was with the railings upstairs. They were wide enough to for a small toddler to climb through. We have a very adventurous boy and he Managed to fit though the railings on the second floor overlooking the kitchen. He did this in the morning, I was quickly using the restroom and came out to see him on the other side of the railings. I did not think he could fit though so I did feel like he had to be in the restroom. Also we don’t have a house with railings. Lesson learned if you have a small toddler just be wary of the railings. Havana Cabana great choice!
We loved Havana Cabana, location (quiet street), amenities, close to town, the coffee shop and all the action. We really liked TV set up in its own room (that is a special note from the kids) and fenced in backyard complete with tree house. Kitchen was well stocked and we got an excellent response from maintenance crew with a minor repair. "

Our week at Havana Cabana was wonderful! The house was perfect for our needs and I loved the updated furnishings. Everything was clean and new. We spent a lot of our time on the screened-in porch, having coffee there in the morning and relaxing on the swing in the afternoon. A few evenings, we enjoyed watching movies or reading in the downstairs den. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs and we loved the shaded arbor. Coming home from the beach, we rinsed the dogs in the outdoor shower and that prevented salty dogs in the house 🙂 Everything we needed was just a quick bike ride or walk away. We'd definitely recommend the Havana Cabana for your Ocracoke stay. "
