Surrounded by trees and nicely secluded, this comfortable Ocracoke Island cottage offers a great vacation opportunity for a small family. Relax on the screened porch.

2 bedrooms, 1.5 Baths: 1 with Queen, 1 with two Twins.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, 3 satellite TVs and 1 DVD player. The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.

*This home does not provide linens.

No smoking. No pets. No phones. Limit of 2 vehicles.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.


Property Layout:

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV/DVD. Master Bedroom with Queen bed, TV/DVD, and Bath with shower. Laundry Closet.

Second Floor: Bedroom with two Twin beds, TV/DVD. Half Bath.

Very clean, well furnished and fully stocked kitchen. Also had movies and games. I would highly recommend to a small family. Within walking distance of town, less than 1 mi, and in a very quiet area. Photos on the website were very representative of the property. Cannot wait for another stay at this property!

Absolutely loved this house. My husband has been coming to the island for 35 years and this was by far the best 2 week vacation. The house was spotless, secluded and quiet. We will be renting again. Thanks OIR. You guys are great.

This was my 8th trip to Ocracoke. My stay at Off The Beaten Path was amazing. The house was spotless upon arrival and was stocked with everything we needed. The location was close to everywhere we wanted to go but still private and quiet. As always OIR was responsive to the requests we had. I hope to come back and stay here again.

We LOVED Off the Beaten Path! Location was perfect for us, just far enough out of the way to be quiet but still close to the village. We are super picky about cleanliness, and this place was spotless. We will be back in the future!
