Located directly on Pamlico Sound, enjoy an island getaway at this tastefully decorated sound front end unit at the Southwind Condominiums on Ocracoke Island. Southwind I is part of a small four unit complex located within easy walking distance to Silver Lake Harbor, shops and galleries.

This two story townhouse offers two waterside decks with views of Pamlico Sound, Portsmouth Island, passing boats, kayakers, birdlife and amazing Ocracoke sunsets.

3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths: 1 with King, 1 with Queen, 1 with Double and Twin. Daybed in den.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs and DVD player. The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. Phone with domestic long distance service. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers two decks, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

What's New for 2020: At this time, the pier is not expected to be available before Summer 2020. Completion date is not available at this time. Website will be updated when a more definitive date is available.

Small shared shallow water pier.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.


Property Layout:

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Bedroom with Queen bed and semi-private bath with shower (bedroom and hallway access). Laundry Closet.

Second Floor: Master Bedroom with King bed and Master Bath with garden tub and separate shower. Bedroom with Double bed and Twin bed. Den with Daybed. Bath with tub/shower.

*Bikes, Beach Items, Cottage and Baby Items, and more are available through Beach Outfitters. Advance orders of Beach Outfitters items can be made any time prior to your arrival by calling Ocracoke Island Realty.

We had a great stay here! Beautiful sunsets and good location. The owners have made some updates since the photos above were taken. Very nice!Wouldnt have changed a thing! We will definitely stay here again.

A perfect week! My husband and kids were able to get up early and fish off the pier. In the evenings, after a day at the beach, we launched our kayaks off the pier and paddled as the sun set. The master bedroom has its own little porch, and you even get water views from the bed. The sunsets from the back porch were a perfect way to end the day. We cooked almost every meal, and the house came fully equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.
