Beverly’s House on British Cemetery offers a pleasant walk or bike ride to Silver Lake Harbor, the Community Square, shops, galleries, several restaurants and popular water sports. Protected by native cedars, bay laurel, live oak, and myrtle, the front porch is a private shaded spot all day long. Relax in the rocking chairs or porch swings.

This recently renovated historic home offers modern appliances, heat/air conditioning, modern kitchen and baths. Meals can be enjoyed in the eat-in kitchen or in the sunroom with large dining table.

Beverly’s House was built in approximately 1900 and is on the National Register of Historic Homes. This home was built by Charlie Scarborough who also built several important structures on the Island including the Oddfellows Lodge, the Wahab Villlage Hotel (now Blackbeard’s Lodge), the original Methodist Church, the William Ellis Williams House on the water at the Community Square, and Captain Thomas’ house on the other side of Silver Lake.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat and ceiling fans. One smart TV with cable service. Complimentary wireless internet access. Gas fireplace (Off-Season Only). The kitchen offers a gas range and electric oven. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a front covered porch and rear deck. Hot/cold outdoor shower and foot wash.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 2 Dogs.

No Smoking. Parking limited to 2 mid-sized vehicles.

This home is in the Stay Your Way program and can be reserved in advance with any arrival and departure date, your “mini vacation” is subject to a three night minimum. Yes, even in the summer! Stay Your Way homes can be booked months in advance.

"Beverly'sHouse was perfect for us. The teens took the upstairs and the bedroom downstairs remained quiet! The only thing the place needs is a closet or some way to hang up clothes downstairs that don't want to fold for a drawer."

"Beautiful house and very clean. The layout was perfect for my husband, myself and our dog. I loved the front porch, unfortunately, the traffic is constant for a road that basically is a dead end and the neighbors (locals) tended to be loud. However, that is not the fault of the Ocracoke Realty. The microwave was broke most of the week. I reported that issue twice. Thank you! "
