Description

Welcome to 'Blue Heaven.' This charming cottage is located at the end of a quiet lane in a secluded residential area of Ocracoke Island. Blue Heaven features an open floor plan with dining table for four to six guests and bar seating for two. Relax on a deck off of either the dining area or kitchen. Retreat to the lookout deck. French doors in the living area enter onto a screened porch.

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 1 with King, 1 with two Twins. The living area offers a Queen Size Sleeper Sofa. First floor bathroom has shower only and a second floor bath has claw foot tub.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, 3 cable TVs and 2 DVD players. The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer. Iron (No ironing board).

The exterior offers two decks, a screened porch, a lookout deck, porch swing, hammock swing, picnic table, hot/cold outdoor shower, fish cleaning bench and small charcoal grill.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Internet Access. No Phone.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV/DVD. Queen Sleeper Sofa in living area. Bath with shower. Laundry Area.

Second Floor: Bedroom with King bed, TV. Bedroom with two Twin beds, TV. Hallway Bath with Claw Foot Tub.

Blue Heaven was very peaceful and secluded. Almost too secluded. The last turn to the house could be better marked and it was unclear which trash can was ours. The trees could be trimmed back so you can get to the house with rods in the rod holders. Overall a great getaway. A little piece of heaven. We hope to return soon.

Blue Heaven took us completely by surprise, what a treasure! Tucked away back in the marshes, so private, cozy, updated and unique. The pictures don't do it justice. My daughters and I truly loved it and they are asking to go back to Blue Heaven for our next visit. They are 19 yrs old and 27 yrs old and were actually looking forward to being offline all week, so the lack of internet was not an issue at all, like I thought it would be. The screened in porch was wonderful, as well as the top deck which we used frequently at night to check out the stars. Ocracoke is a very special place, I've been visiting since I was a kid and now I have my daughters in love with it!

We had an absolutely wonderful vacation at Blue Heaven! The house is adorable and spacious and offers lots of privacy. Ocracoke is beautiful, can't wait for next year's trip.
