Description

The Cedar Cottage is a centrally located dog friendly home offering a comfortable walk or bike ride to village shops, galleries, restaurants and Silver Lake Harbor. Enjoy the rear den featuring a wall of windows overlooking the marsh. Relax on the front porch and watch the world go by in this historic island neighborhood.

2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath: Each bedroom with a Double bed. Futon in den.

Amenities include air conditioning/heat units, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, cable TV and DVD player. The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a covered front porch, hot/cold outdoor shower and park style charcoal grill.

This home does not provide linens.

No Phone.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit 1 Vehicle. No additional onsite parking available.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

My boyfriend and I and our two dogs came to Ocracoke for the week before Memorial Day and it may have been the happiest week of our lives. The weather was 80 degrees and sunny every day after Monday, and as lovely and super-stocked as the quaint Cedar Cottage was, we spent about 80% of the time outside. Bicycling around this town was one of my favorite parts. My advice to the reader is to take time and get lost as you peruse the many unique and enchanting beach cottages that line the windy back roads. The restaurants are all varied and wonderful in their own right. Our favorite was Smacnally's; extremely friendly service, breath-taking atmosphere and view of the harbor as charter boats come back with with their bountiful spoils. As for the cottage... absolutely perfect for us. So glad it was pet friendly. We didn't even use the additional bedroom. the house was clean, simple, and well stocked. the back room overlooking the dock was a pleasant place to have breakfast, and the dock was a great place to st
