Description

Contentment. The name says it all! This Ocracoke vacation home is located in the quiet Jackson Dunes neighborhood on beautiful Ocracoke Island. Relax in the Adirondack chairs, read a book on the screened porch, dine outdoors or lounge on the upper deck.

With two separate living areas, there is plenty of room to spread out and relax! Both living areas include large flat screen TVs. Enjoy the lovely unobstructed sound, marsh, and even distant ocean views from the top floor cupola or upper deck.

4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 2 with King, 1 with Queen, 1 with Bunk Bed and Twin. One bath with shower only and one bath with claw foot tub with shower attachment.

Additional amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, 5 flat screen cable TVs and 2 DVDs The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. The second floor den offers a mini refrigerator and wet bar. Washer and dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers a large screened porch, decks, picnic table, deck swing, hot/cold outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 4 vehicles.

No Partial Week Stays.

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV/DVD. Bedroom with King bed, TV. Bedroom with Queen bed, TV. Bedroom with a Twin bed and Bunk bed. Hallway bath with shower.

Second Floor: Bedroom with King bed, TV. Second living area with TV/DVD. Bath with claw foot tub with shower attachment.

Third Floor: Small cupola with seating.

We loved out stay at Ocracoke this year with family & friends. The beach is the best in the state of NC. We like riding golf carts around at night and house hopping between friends and family.

Stayed at Contentment in Jackson Dunes for first time. Beautifully decorated home with multiple common areas and securely screened porch. Kitchen very well stocked with all the cooking implements you'd need, and outside shower was very well done and enjoyable.

Our visit to Ocracoke was perfect. The house was amazing...beautifully decorated and amazing to almost sit in the treetops with the birds on the balcony. The sunsets, yoga on the beach, trip to Portsmouth Island and overall island hospitality were amazing...my only complaint is that we could not stay longer. Thank you for a real good time.
