Description

This well maintained Ocracoke Island vacation home is popular for its various and spacious decking and wonderful screened porch. The bright and open floor plan, complimented by a well equipped kitchen, is wonderful for family gatherings. A third floor tower room offers a distant sound view.

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: Each bedroom with Queen. Great Room with a Twin Size Sleeper Sofa. Futon in third floor Tower Room.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 3 cable TVs, unlimited streaming Netflix and 3 DVD players. Washer and dryer.

The exterior offers a screened porch, 2 decks, deck swing, hammock, 2 outdoor dining tables, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Smoking. Limit 3 vehicles.

Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Owner requests only one maximum 50 lb. dog.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV/DVD. Twin size sleeper sofa in living area. Bath with shower.

Second Floor: Two Bedrooms each with Queen bed, TV, and shared bath with tub/shower.

Third Floor: Tower Room with Futon.

Our first time to OI. Nice house. Very well decorated. We stayed with our 3 yr old daughter. She loved all of the games and puzzles. The front deck was a great play area for her. Plenty of kitchen necessities including dish towels. Something broke, we reported it and it was quickly fixed. The washer and dryer worked great. A gate on the ladder to the loft would be nice for families with kids. The beds were a bit hard, I would suggest taking a mattress topper if you like them soft. There was mold in the upstairs shower/tub unit so it wasn't usable to us. I would suggest adding a hot tub since there is so much deck space.We didn't use any of the grills but the large one is very nice. Plenty of room to pull car under the house and for golf cart rental. Overall pretty nice experience.

Please, if you ever find such issues again in one of our homes, just give us a quick call, or report it through the housekeeping form and we are happy to send someone over to take care of the problem as quickly as possible. Our cleaners do a great job during the busy summer, but occasionally they do miss things. We are happy to fix it asap! Glad you had a great time and hope to see you and your family again soon!

Lovely cottage in an excellent location. Tastefully and comfortably furnished, well equipped kitchen, good layout and fabulous screened porch. Wish wed had more time to stay. Next time, for sure.
