Description

Enjoy this unique cottage located on Ocracoke's Back Road. A Ferry Trail Ending is just a short walk to Silver Lake Harbor, unique shops, galleries and dining.

This cottage is perfect for small families or friends. Enjoy the uniqueness of two separate cottage wings joined by a large screened porch. Each wing offers its own living, dining and kitchen areas, bedrooms and bathroom.

3 Bedrooms and 2 Baths.

The front section of the cottage offers a large open living area with TV and DVD player, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and electric stove, 1 bedroom with Queen bed and TV, and a Daybed in the alcove den. One full Bath with shower. Guests will enjoy the front screened porch. The front section offers central heat and air.

The rear section offers a smaller living area with TV, kitchen with gas stove (no dishwasher), two bedrooms each with a pyramid bed (double on bottom/twin on top), full Bath with tub/shower and washer/dryer. Enjoy a rear open deck. The rear section offers two window heat/air conditioning units.

Amenities include two kitchens, dishwasher (in front section), washer/dryer (rear section), 2 microwaves, wireless internet access, 3 satellite TVs and 2 DVD players. Phone. Central air conditioning/heat in front section and Window Heat/Air in rear section.

The exterior offers two screened porches, open deck, a hot/cold outdoor shower, picnic table and a fish cleaning bench.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 4 vehicles (single lane driveway).

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.


Property Layout:

Front Building: Open living area with TV, eat-in kitchen and alcove den with Day Bed. Bedroom with Queen bed and TV. Bath with shower stall.

Front building is connected to the rear building by the large screened porch.

Rear Building: Open living area with TV and eat-in kitchen. Two bedrooms, each with a Pyramid Bed (double on bottom and twin on top). Entry door via living area and access to shared screened porch via one bedroom. Walk-thru bathroom with tub/shower and stackable washer/dryer.

Very nice experience. Our only concern was broken glass in the drive way and poison oak/poison ivy along fence was out of control. Very quiet location and House was cleaned very well before we arrived!!

Very convenient location and comfortable for our family of four, highly recommend!! The only issue we had was the master bedroom queen mattress in the main section of the home. You could feel the springs through the mattress and was very uncomfortable. Otherwise a great home and service through OIR!
