Description

Holloman House is a great family and pet friendly home with room to spread out. This cottage features a living room area on both the first and second floor. Enjoy a walk or bike ride to shops and restaurants.

3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: First floor offers 1 bedroom with a Queen and a Twin, 1 bedroom with two Twins. Second floor bedroom with Queen Bed and a Double Futon. There is one bathroom on each floor.

The first level features a living area with kitchenette and TV/DVD and full bath with tub/shower. The second floor offers an open floor plan with full kitchen, living area, dining area, washer/dryer and screened porch.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 4 TVs and 2 DVD players. The den offers a wet bar, microwave and mini refrigerator. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play.

The exterior offers a screened porch, hot/cold outdoor shower and fish cleaning bench.

*This home does not provide linens.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only. Limit of 3 vehicles.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

This was a really nicely laid out home, and very clean. It was not fancy, but the furniture was clean and comfortable and it had a lot of space. It was great for bringing older guests who do not want to climb a lot of stairs because of the kitchenette and living room located downstairs. Overall a wonderful stay. We absolutely love coming to Ocracroke and enjoyed our stay this past week immensly!

This is the second year that we have stayed in Holloman house. The layout of this pet friendly house works very well for us. 2 downstairs bedrooms will sleep a total of 5 and there is a full size sleeper pull-out in the lower den area. Also handy is a small fridge & sink so you can keep snacks/drinks downstairs. There is a full bath downstairs. The upstairs bedroom will sleep up to 4. The kitchen has all of the basics including a crockpot. The screened upper deck porch provides a nice place to catch a breeze and read. There is parking for up to 3 vehicles. 4 stars for this home. For those bringing a dog, it would be nice if the area was fenced or had some type of fenced lot or even a run line. There were also some minor plumbing issues that were more annoying than anything (slow drains, running toilets)Overall this is one of the best pet friendly homes we have stayed in.

I would say overall the home was clean. However, when taking out plates and glasses to use, they needed to be rewashed. Also when arriving to the home, the oven was left on, NOT GOOD! The bath tub downstairs was clogged before we got there, so that was an issue all week. There were big spiders coming down from the ceiling opening to the attic in the dining area and the most disturbing part of our stay is pitter patter of the rodents in the ceiling above the dining room all the time. Gross!I did not call to resolve these issues during my stay because I do not like anyone who isnt my family coming into my home. The issues werent ruining our time but I am losing faith in the cleanliness of this realty company as its not the first time I have experienced less than satisfactory circumstances.

Following your departure and subsequent email, we did discover that a raccoon had gotten in the attic and we took immediate steps to have it removed and the entry point sealed. We hope you will visit us again soon.

Had a grwat staythe house was charming with wonderful screened porch. would have been nice to have a grill there
