Description

Enjoy this casual Ocracoke Island vacation home located near the end of a quiet private road. The spacious open floor plan is complimented by a generous amount of windows and doors, bringing the outdoors in, along with cathedral ceilings in the kitchen, living and dining areas.

This home, originally built as a guest house, shares a rear deck with the main home that may be occupied at times by the owner's family. The main home is not available as a rental property.

2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: Master Bedroom with King and Master Bedroom with 2 Twins.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, complimentary wireless internet access, 2 cable TVs and DVD player. Washer/dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

No Smoking. No Pets. Limit of 2 vehicles.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.


Property Layout:

Single story home: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Master Bedroom with King bed and Master Bath with tub/shower. Master Bedroom with two Twin beds and Master Bath with tub/shower. Laundry Closet with stackable washer/dryer.

A little jewel on the back roads of Ocracoke!

What a wonderful little house to hide away in while on Ocracoke. The house was spotless and the rooms were very comfortable. Located on a secluded little street not far from the center of town. As other reviewers have mentioned, the kitchen needs more essentials: knives, pots and pans, etc. We would definitely rent this house again.

Osprey is a lovely house but is poorly equipped, especially the kitchen. Almost all kitchen knives have lost their points; all are very dull. There is one small pot and 1 huge one, and one damaged skillet. That's it for cooking on the old stove. The ice maker in the freezer is broken. The shower doors are broken. And the very old coffee maker finally gave up the ghost on our last morning. The TVs area also very small and dated, but we don't watch much TV. With just a little attention and small investment in new kitchen items this would be an excellent rental property.

This is the second year at The Osprey house. It is a peaceful setting and waking up early to the view of mature Live Oaks and Cedars is relaxing. Love the island!

We absolutely loved our stay in ocracoke especially in the osprey. The house was great, especially the deck. My wife and I spent every morning out there. The house also had a lot of amenities that made the trip easier.The early key drop off box was so convenient since we wanted to leave in the middle of the night to avoid the Sunday beach traffic in various spots on our 10-11 hour ride home.Overall an incredible stay!
