Welcome to Pocket Change, a wonderful new Ocracoke home.

This home offers an open floorplan featuring high ceilings and wonderful rear screened porch to enhance your vacation relaxation.

1 Bedroom with Queen Bed. A second Queen Bed is located in a second floor loft which is accessed by a ladder. 1 Bath with shower.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, 4 smart TVs and a DVD player. Electric fireplace (off season only). The kitchen offers a microwave and dishwasher. Washer and Dryer.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The exterior offers a rear screened porch with TV, outdoor shower, park style charcoal grill. A small rear fenced area is perfect for your pet.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

No phone.

No Smoking. Pet Friendly - Dogs Only (limit one dog). Limit of 2 vehicles.


Property Layout:

First Floor: Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV. Bedroom with Queen Bed and TV. Bath with shower only. Washer/Dryer. Screened Porch with TV.

Ladder Access Loft: Queen Bed and TV.

Please Note: Under house ramp is not available.

Pocket Change was perfect for our vacation! We had everything we needed and felt at home immediately. The kitchen is well- stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The entire home was modern and clean. Screened porch extends living area significantly and having an extra tv on the porch was wonderful on the mild fall nights when we stayed. We’ve rented many times on OBX and this is our favorite of all.

Absolutely incredible place to stay. Very modern and exceptionally clean. The house was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, including 3 coffee makers! The only downfall was the mattresses in both bedrooms. They weren't just hard, they were rock hard. If you stay here, bring a pillow top or something to compensate. No exaggeration, rock solid mattresses.

Thank you for your kind remarks and taking the time to review. Mattress firmness is a very personal choice. For those of you who wish a softer experience the owners have added toppers to their european style mattresses. Of course the toppers can be removed if you wish.

Pocket Change offered us the comfort and coziness that allowed us to perfectly savour the relaxed and quiet life at Ocracoke. We have been visiting for several years, but this time was special, and Pocket Change was instrumental in making us feel that way. Kudos to the owners for sharing their home with our family.
