This 3,300 square foot home is lavish, yet comfortable and amenity filled! Gaze out over the blowing marsh grasses to the distant Pamlico Sound. The 33 foot private pool offers generous decking, relax in the over-sized 8 person hot tub. Watch movies in the private theater room or take the challenge in the game room. This home has something for everyone!

The living area features a 50 inch HDTV, DVD and 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound System. The electric fireplace lets you set the mood any time of year! Each of the 3 King bedrooms has a 42 inch TV and Blu-Ray. The Bunk Bed room has a TV and Blu-Ray.

The private theater room with 8 foot movie screen, HD projector, Netflix movie streaming, DVD, and 7.1 Dolby Surround Sound System is a treat for the senses. The game room offers a professional foosball table, an upright arcade style video game system with everything from Donkey Kong to Pac-man and a Wii with full controls for 2 people, bring your favorite games! In addition, the game room has a 42 inch TV, surround sound speaker system, and more!

The large kitchen is a must see. Offering granite counter tops, a microwave, dishwasher, commercial ice maker, beverage cooler, prep sink and kitchen bar along with plenty of small appliances.

4 Bedrooms, 4.5 Baths: 3 with King, 1 with a set of Bunk Beds. Each full bath features a shower. One of the full baths features an 42 inch TV, a whirlpool tub for two and a separate shower.

Additional amenities include central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans and wireless internet access. Domestic long distance service. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

The 8 person hot tub is located on the rear furnished porch with an outdoor bar area offering a soda/wine refrigerator. Beyond the porch you will find the *private pool. In addition, the exterior offers two hot/cold outdoor showers with dressing rooms, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Covered parking.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Limit of 3 vehicles.

No Partial Week Stays.

*Pool is open April 11 - October 16, 2020. **Hot Tub is available through New Year's Weekend. For 2020, Hot Tub is open March 21st through New Year's Weekend.

Master Bedroom with King bed, TV/DVD, and Master Bathroom with shower. Bedroom with King bed TV/DVD, and semi-private bath with shower (bedroom and hallway access). Master Bedroom with Bunk Bed, TV/DVD, and Master Bath with shower. Theater Room. Game Room with TV. Laundry Closet.

Second Floor:

Open kitchen, dining and living area with TV/DVD. Master Bedroom with King bed, TV/DVD, and Master Bath with two person whirlpool tub and separate shower.

Third Floor: Cupola with couch seating.

This was our 2nd time staying at Solitude. We absolutely love this house. It has everything and more. We all enjoy the hot tub and this year our little one got to enjoy the pool too. The decks are great and the views are beautiful. There is so much to keep everyone entertained. We all enjoyed playing basketball during the day and watching movies at night. We also love the large kitchen, took advantage of the Keurig, Kitchenaid mixer, Margarita maker and the ice maker was great. I just can't say enough about this house.....it is awesome and we already have it booked for next year.

From the initial reservation to our arrival on Ocracoke Island, our rental agency, Ocracoke Island Realty, met all expectations and more of what a rental agency is all about. Prior to our arrival they kept us informed as to all events (weather related and town activities) and made our check in completely seamless. Once we checked into Solitude, our family was very pleased with location of the residence, the cleanliness, with the house having virtually everything we needed to make our stay exciting and comfortable. At the time of departure, a simple text message that we had checked out of the unit was all that was needed. No lines no hassle. I know there are other rental companies on the island, but when visiting again or making plans for our vacation, I will choose Ocracoke Island Realty as our rental agency. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We stayed in Solitude and loved it so much that we booked for next year! We had small grandchildren with us and appreciated the way the door to the pool was set up. It cannot be reached by small children, although a second lock would be a good deterrent. A few more drinking glasses would be appreciated, and a lot of lights were burned out. Other than those things , we loved it.
