This wonderful Ocracoke vacation home offers spectacular unobstructed views of the distant ocean and sound across an amazing expanse of natural marsh. Rise early and enjoy your private front-row seat for a spectacular Ocracoke sunrise. Starry Night offers spacious wrap around screened porches on both the first and second floor. Enjoy views that many are not aware exist on Ocracoke Island.

Three bedrooms: Two bedrooms with a King Bed and one bedroom with a King and Queen. Futon in the den. Two full baths with tub/shower. One bath features a large whirlpool tub.

Amenities include central heat and air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs and DVD. Washer and dryer.

The exterior features screened porches, rooftop deck offering expansive marsh and distant ocean views, an outdoor hot/cold shower, park style charcoal grill, picnic table, fish bench and covered parking.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed.

Military Discount Available. Discount can only be applied at time of booking.

No Partial Week Stays.

Property Layout:

First Floor: Bedroom with King Bed with TV, shared bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower (access via bedroom and hallway). Bedroom with King Bed with TV. Den with futon and TV. Laundry closet.

Second Floor: Open floor plan with the living area with TV, dining area and kitchen. Bedroom with 1 King Bed and 1 Queen Bed with TV. Hallway Bath with tub/shower.

Starry Night was probably one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in. We have stayed in different cottages just about every year since 2004. The 3 bedrooms were really large. The outdoor shower was the nicest I have seen. The view from the crows nest is excellent with glimpses of the sound and ocean. Even the den with the futon while small would probably be sufficient for one person. The DVD collection is huge. The one minor knock is that the living room area is rather small but not terribly so. The light switches were a little confusing and we still are not quite sure how the under house light works. It has a sensor but not sure what activates it. Be mindful of the little frogs in the evenings, they are everywhere on the steps and railings.

Starry Nights was one of the best houses we have rented on Ocracoke. It is spacious and all the screened in porches were great. The view was an added bonus.
