"As always, Ocracoke Island and Ocracoke Island Realty are wonderful! Purple Martin was an older property in need of some repairs/updates. We encountered some bugs (ants and cockroaches) likely due to the high water table/recent flooding. A few kitchen items that would be helpful: silicone spatula, pizza wheel, plastic water pitcher. Some minor issues were addressed by Ocracoke Island Realty almost immediately. We enjoyed the screened in porch and spent a good amount of time there together. Overall, a successful trip! "

"The house we stayed in is in much need of repair. Ceilings coming down or taped over in master bedroom. The landing of the stair case leading up to the upper deck very unstable and repaired with a piece of plywood. That being said, the ac worked great and the location was wonderful."
