"August 2018 Stay
We had a lovely time in the house and it fit our needs very well. Here are some comments on, first, what was great, and then how to improve things in the house for future guests:Good stuff: The main space was very nice and attractive; the pop-up TV was cool. The bedrooms worked very well even tho we had 11 adults/kids staying there for a few days at one point. The kayak was a very nice feature too.To be improved:The gas grill was pretty unusable as the grate was totally rusted out (but OIR came thru and delivered a charcoal grill THAT day we called). The main double doors to the two porches were pretty dirty, kind of gross. Most of the "non-stick" frying pans were fairly worn out and aren't really non-stick anymore. There is a need for more medium sized pots; there were lots of small ones and one huge one. Ceiling fans on the porches would be an awesome addition. Some days, we could have turned off the air conditioner in the house and been outside on the porches if they had fans."
