Rented for daughter and her girls. An amazing find. Kids loved it and was a beautiful place. We’re booing again for next year."

We have been visiting Ocracoke for over 25 years. This is one of nicest homes we have stayed in. Immaculate! Has everything you need. Only concerns were the dogs across the street-constantly barking. Also stairs can be slippery if you are just in socks. Unfortunately I fell the first day and broke a bone. Otherwise it was an amazing vacation."

It was a great place to stay at the outer banks! The house was immaculate clean, bed comfortable, kitchen had everything you could need. The a/c worked great the screen porch was delightful! Our pugs enjoyed the house as much as we did and this was our second time staying there. Great location and what hidden gem!"
Michael from Danville
This is our 5th year at Ocracoke and we loved them all. This is the best place to unwind and relax on the east coast. There is nothing like inland life and we are already booked for next year!"
Linda from Wake Forest
We love this house. Well equipped kitchen, great screened in porch, love the second floor bedroom with a small deck, love that its dog friendly. We rented Aleta for the first time in May 2018 and decided to rent same week following year. Back again this May 2019, rented again for October 2019 and reserved for May 2020. Used the kayaks this time too! Cant wait for October. See you then!"

Weve been coming to Ocracoke for about 30 years. Aleta was one of the nicest cottages weve rented for our wonderful Ocracoke vacations. "
Keval from Durham
We loved our stay at Aleta! It was perfect for a couple and a dog. I really enjoyed doing my yoga and meditation practice on the dock, and so appreciated use of the kayaks! Aleta is a beautiful, light-filled house in a wonderful location. Thank you so much!"
Shannon from Falling Waters
It is a beautifully appointed home and a perfect place for a couple. We very much appreciated the ability to bring our dog, and the ramp made his stay much easier, since he didnt have to do steps. We have stayed 4 other places, and this is our favorite so far. What we would bring next time:A mattress topper. While the mattress is good and supportive, we like a little more softness for our 60 year old bones. Folding chairs. Ditto the above thought for the seating on the fabulous screened porch and dock. "

Dennis from Neponset
Aleta is the perfect house for a couple. It is comfortable, beautifully decorated, a gourmet kitchen, lovely decks, on the canal, always found immaculate on arrival. We love it & have been staying there for many years. We really like the private outdoor shower. We always feel bad in our last day, leaving Aleta with a 22 hr drive back to Illinois. Thank you Ocracoke realty for your wonderful & personal service!!"
