"Wonderful "coming home" feeling when we hit Ocracoke. After 37 years of coming, it is always special. Hanging Loose is an especially comfortable cottage. Everything imaginable is at your fingertips. We love cooking in with great fresh seafood-the gourmet kitchen meets every need. Watching Top Gun/Maverick one night with theater sound system was like being at the movies. Ocracoke Realty is easy to work with. Keep up all the great work!"

"Hangin Loose house was wonderful. The house was very clean, kitchen had every appliance and provisions needed. Entertainment center was amazing. The backyard was beautiful and fenced in for the pets. The ramps up to the house made moving in so easy. We had one minor repair to be made, and the realty had it taken care of immediately. Thank you Ocracoke Realty and the owners of the house. "

"Very comfortable homey feel and definitely a well stocked kitchen and the screen porch swing was awesome along with a lot of other seating. The couch covers were great addition as to not having to ask my dogs kindly to remove themselves when not paying attention… also a great way to relax and enjoy myself. Dog tree shaded large fenced yard was also a huge benefit and including the hammock swing to enjoy my book and relax when possible and very private which was a plus! We look forward to a return trip for sure.

"Wonderful! - We had a great time at Hanging Loose! The house was perfect, with lots of extras. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We loved the open concept, the wonderful screened porch, and the deck. Location is really convenient. Just a perfect house for a wonderful vacation. Ocracoke Island Realty was very easy to work with and everyone there was super friendly. We have already booked for next year."

Home away from Home-Hangin' Loose!
Our second year at Hangin' Loose and it was better than ever! The cottage was sparkling clean when we arrived. We love the fresh seafood at Ocracoke so we cook in for most meals. The kitchen is a dream to cook in! Everything possible is there at your fingertips-professional pots and pans-even an iron skillet! Tons of bowls and storage containers. The layout with the kitchen open to the living area making it perfect for the evening's cook to enjoy whatever everyone else is doing in the living area. The porches and yard are welcoming. We opened the umbrella each morning to enjoy our coffee on the deck-watching everyone file down to the long line at Ocracoke Coffee. Greg and Connie are incredible hosts clearly enjoying sharing their home. Becoming a "Stewart" of their cottage makes it feel like coming home. Thank you so much for all you do to make it better every year. Already signed up for next August.Susan"

Hangin' Loose
My daughter, myself, and my 2 pups recently spent a week in Hangin' Loose. The home is wonderful. The kitchen is Very well stocked. The beds and other furnishings are very comfortable. Great screened porch offers a nap inducing swing for 2. It has entry ramps that are great for me plus great exercise for my pups. I already have it reserved for another week in the fall. Plenty of high-tech goodies and good internet too. See you in the fall."

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hanging Loose. The home is so welcoming, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is possibly the best stocked kitchen I have ever experienced in a rental. The location was perfect being so close to restaurants and shops. We were sad to leave!"
