Amenities include complimentary wireless Internet access, and cable TVs. Window air conditioning. Baseboard heat on first level only. Ceiling fans. Washer and dryer.
The exterior offers a large screened porch with a picnic table and a deck that adds to your outdoor enjoyment. The rooftop observation deck provides a lovely view of the Island from above the tree-tops. Feel the breezes and watch the sunset into the sound. Hot/cold outdoor shower.

Second Floor: Primary Bedroom with Queen, TV, and bathroom with shower stall. Bedroom with Queen and bedroom with two twins which share a half bathroom.
"Overall, the house was great. There was no grill, as described, and housecleaning could do a little better (cobwebs over sink in bathroom, upstairs bedrooms not cleaned particularly well). But, things were doable, so no big complaints!"

"The Hartlaub Cottage was clean and much roomier than expected. We loved the crow's nest. The 360 view was spectacular. Cottage needs some work. Electrical issues. Breaker tripped multiple times a day in one section of the place."

"Excellent service but the cabin really needs a lighting upgrade. Very dark minimal lighting with brighter bulbs needed throughout. Kitchen table seats are silly low compared to the table. "

"Visited July 2022 Fair review Very nice property, very spacious, good location, good value. One of the AC units was broken but the others seemed to keep the place cool enough. Excellent screened in porch and outdoor shower. Like all houses with window air conditioning units, they are quite loud so be prepared. For such a nice place, a rifle bolt style latch on the oven seemed a bit out of place and not ideal. The downstairs bathroom shower drain is nearly clogged. The perimeter of the house needs to be sprayed to keep down the cockroaches and the outside grass should be mowed to keep down the biting green flys. "
