The exterior offers a screened porch, deck, balcony, hot/cold outdoor shower, charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench.
This home will be providing all linens and beds made for 2024 season.
No Dishwasher.

"We absolutely loved the Canel Cottage!! We had one minor maintenance issue that was resolved quickly and the after-hours check-in & check-out was so helpful. Will definitely be renting from OIR next year!!"

"Awesome vacation! - For 3 adults and one couple this home worked very well for our vacation. We had plenty of space to spread out. Only complaint... should have booked it for two weeks. We didnt want to leave! Ocracoke is quaint and beautiful. You'll be very pleased with this home."

"Had a very nice stay in Canal Cottage. Since we've stayed there numerous time before it always feels like home. Enjoy the remoteness of the cottage, but short bike ride to everything and easy access to the sound for our kayak. Note that the Wi-Fi router there has been "retired" by CenturyLink and if you call you can get a free, up to date one that is faster and the monthly bill will be less."

"June/July 2019 Stay This was our first time at Canal Cottage, and we were pleasantly surprised! Layout and location were great. We brought our own bikes but realized cabin included bikes. One disappointment was outdoor shower...our kids always shower outdoors after daily beach visits, but there wasnt ample water pressure and the separate hot and cold shower heads?We did miss having an elevated observation area (what we lovingly refer to as a poop deck).The house was cleaner than most weve rented. Kitchen was well-stocked, but we had little room for food.Overall a wonderful home in a relatively quiet location that we enjoyed for our 2 week stay."
