Description

Off the Deep End features Ocracoke's only Private On-Site Indoor Heated Swimming Pool, a Hot Tub, sound and marsh views from upper deck, and so much more. Enjoy a one of a kind Ocracoke Island home offering comfortable furnishings, a generously equipped kitchen and spectacular amenities making it easy to relax on your Ocracoke vacation.

Off the Deep End offers easy walking or biking distance to Silver Lake Harbor, water sports, shops, galleries and several restaurants.

4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths: 1 with King, 3 bedrooms each with a Queen. A small alcove on the second floor offers a twin bunk bed which offers flexible sleeping options. One bathroom has a whirlpool tub and separate 4' walk-in tiled shower. The second offers a tub/shower.

Amenities include indoor heated pool, central air conditioning/heat, ceiling fans, wireless internet access, 5 cable TVs and 2 DVD players. The eat-in kitchen features a microwave, dishwasher and wine refrigerator. Phone. Washer and dryer. Pack-N-Play. High chair.

The exterior offers a *hot tub, hot/cold outdoor shower, deck, furnished screened and covered porch, picnic table, porch swing, hammock, park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. No Canal Access.

*Hot Tub and Indoor Pool are available  March 15 through October 31, 2020. The 12' X 20' private heated indoor pool ranges in depth from 3' to 5'. Pool heat will be available during pool season when the exterior temperature reaches 50 degrees or greater. During the heated season, pool temperature is maintained at approximately 80 degrees.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival.

No Smoking. No Pets Allowed. Maximum 3 Vehicles.

No Partial Week Stays.


Property Layout:

First Floor: Living Room with TV/DVD. Eat-in kitchen. Bedroom with Queen bed, TV. Full bath with tub/shower. Indoor pool accessed from kitchen or exterior.

Second Floor: Two Bedrooms, each with a Queen bed, TV. Sleeping alcove with bunk bed. Full bath with whirlpool tub and separate shower. Laundry closet.

Third Floor: Bedroom with King bed, TV.

This was our 2nd year in Ocracoke and 1st at Off the Deep End. I would never want to stay anywhere else. The house was so clean. AC works great and the pool was fantastic. Thanks for making this a wonderful vacation.

We were down for our honeymoon, and it was amazing! The house was clean and huge. It was perfect to have our own pool and hottub in October. We didn't want to leave! The island has more than you think if you explore! It was our own adventure being our first time to the island.

Our stay on Ocracoke at Off The Deep End was perfect. The home was exceptionally clean, and had everything we needed in terms of dishes, utensils, etc. I am especially afraid of anything creepy crawly. I can honestly say that I did not see the first hint of a bug of any kind. We definitely recommend this adorable home.The Coles

Off The Deep End is the only house for us! The pool and the hot tub was simply amazing. Our family enjoyed our stay and we felt like we were home. My grand daughter called it our purple house. We would like to thank the owners for sharing it with us! We would love to come again next year.

Off the Deep end is a awesome house. My family had a great time. The house had been updated the indoor pool was great.Just want to tell the owner thank you for sharing their house with us.We really enjoy our time on Ocracoke. Ocrafolk is definitely worth being a part of.

We had a great time during our stay, we love the house we rented for the second year in a row and hope to do it again in 2019. We have just a couple of issues with the house to make you aware of, otherwise we had an excellent vacation. The downstairs air conditioning system cools very little, it at all. The fan runs constantly but doesn't seem to cool. The second floor cools fine. Second, the upstairs bathroom sink (on the left) has the hot water turned off at the main valve because when it is turned on, water runs constantly. Lastly, we had hoped the screen porch had been repaired since last year, but it still has no screen at all. We had hoped to sit outside in the evenings, but the mosquitos were voracious.


Thanks so much for your feedback/heads up on the AC and the leaking faucet! We have taken care of both of these issues. And we apologize that the screens were not up for your stay, the house had a fresh paint job and we needed to be sure the new paint had time to cure. I promise, there will be screens for your next stay barring any unforseen emergencies. So glad that you enjoyed the house and your stay! See you again next year!

We can't say enough about how great our stay has been! We are here on our honeymoon and it has been the most romantic time I could've dreamed of...great food, friendly people everywhere, beautiful clean beaches! We will be back, and often, with more friends unless we are here for our anniversary! Thanks for making this stay phenomenal!
