Eleanor Jane's is a Newly Constructed Home that Joined the Rental Program in 2019!

Located on Lighthouse Road, Eleanor Jane's is a new Ocracoke Island home destined to become an amazing Ocracoke vacation destination. Eleanor Jane’s offers a spacious interior featuring modern amenities. This home features 9 foot ceilings, a kitchen featuring two islands, 103-year-old heartpine beams from the foundation of the original home and granite counter tops highlighted by contemporary light fixtures.

Enjoy amazing views of the nearby Ocracoke Lighthouse from both floors of Eleanor Jane’s. Relax on the spacious screened front porch. In the rear of the home, overlooking the pool, Eleanor Jane's offers a covered first floor deck and a second floor open deck, incredible for star gazing. Bring your telescope! This property offers a convenient island location. Enjoy a short walk or bike ride to the Ocracoke Lighthouse, Silver Lake Harbor and the Springer’s Point Nature Preserve. This residential neighborhood is also convenient to shops and restaurants.

Eleanor Jane’s offers a private 10' x 20' *pool located in the rear of the property.

7 Bedrooms, 6.5 Baths: Five Master Bedrooms with King Beds. One bedroom with two Twins, one bedroom with a Pyramid Bed (double on bottom/twin on top) and an additional twin. Each of the five Master Bedrooms features a private bath.

Amenities include central air conditioning/heat and ceiling fans. Wireless internet access, 7 cable TVs and 2 DVD players. A well-stocked kitchen offers a dishwasher and microwave. The laundry room offers a second full size refrigerator and a washer and dryer. A second floor entertainment room offers a kitchenette with mini refrigerator to keep your cold beverages close at hand.

Sheets and towels are provided. Beds are made for your arrival. A mid-week mini-clean will be provided during your stay.

The exterior offers first and second floor decks overlooking the private 10’ x 20’ pool. A front screened porch overlooks Lighthouse Road. Enjoy a shady brick courtyard on the left side of home with mature live oaks. Private outdoor shower with changing area. Park style charcoal grill and fish cleaning bench. Bike rack under the house. Two outlets for golf cart chargers.

*2019 Season - Pool is open through October 19th.

Short Stays are available, there is a three night minimum.

No Smoking Permitted (including decks, porches and pool area). No Pets Allowed. No Phone. Parking for 5-6 cars depending on size.

Awesome New House on Ocracoke!!!

What a beautiful house! Eleanor Jane's was the perfect house for our 4 families' stay on Ocracoke. There are very few options on Ocracoke where we could all fit under one roof and still have plenty of space and Eleanor Jane's certainly fit that bill. The pool was an added bonus too! Location is great also. The kids were able to bike to Ride the Wind, Kitty Hawk Kites, The Slushy Stand, etc on their own. Too many good things to list them all. We highly recommend this house and we are looking forward to returning next year!
